Dined with half board set menu as guest of hotel. Overall quite good but expected more flavour and intensity. Starter Chicken Tacos and Nachos were flavourful (9/10). Main Short Rib felt lacking and a bit muted (under seasoned and spiced for my taste and I was longing for a splash of El Yucateco hot sauce) but maybe the dish is authentic and I was hoping for something it is not. Dessert Chocolate Flan was 10/10 so flavourful and rich. 2 outta 3 ain't bad, would recommend if half board guest but would feel quite short changed otherwise.

Brunch at Maya We visited this amazing Mexican restaurant just a few days ago — for Saturday brunch. First of all, I’d like to say that the interior is beautiful, you can see attention to the details in all the decorations and colors — in the dining area and in bathrooms. The menu for the brunch is nicely compiled, and they serve food to your table — everything that there is on the menu. So surely you can try everything they have to offer — cold starters, hot starters, main dish and desert. Also variety of drinks — soft or alcohol depending on your choice. We went with non-alcohol option. I liked guacamole, shrimps, and beef. Actually, everything was delicious, just as usual people have their best favorites, so I mentioned mine. Also there is kids menu with nuggets, quesadillas and fries. The service is at a top level, the waiters are helpful, attentive and everything is done just in time. The visit was not only about the food, it’s more about get together and enjoy delicious food, and ambience, and talk to friends, take pictures in sombreros or without them, to have this feeling of affluence of time — you are not in a hurry, you are here now to enjoy and make memories. I’d really like to visit again.

Nice atmosphere, and good food, staff is friendly and helpful, environment is super nice. really good place to eat mexican, our daughter enjoyed it.... And was sorry she didn't get to take the hat.... THNX for everything!

Went for my first Saturday brunch at Maya, it was such a lovely experience. Chef Sandoval is so welcoming and gave me the low down of what they have and if I needed any veggie options. Did not expect anything less of the tasty and fresh Mexican cuisine. The endless margaritas were awesome and the staff and entertainment was top notch. Definitely left an impression and will come back on my next visit!

Saturday night dinner done well! Maya is a pretty restaurant and in an extremely pretty property. We chose to walk instead of taking a buggy in. The walk was full of gardens and peacocks and kids playing. In our way was a middle eastern restaurant making fresh grill. Once we reached Maya, we were seated in a nice table, close to the outdoor views as well as the bar. We ordered prawns, fajitas and chimichanga. Food was good and so was the sangria.
