This is our neighborhood pizza, we order there reasonably frequently. Unfortunately the lockdown appears to have had some negative effects in staff and food quality. Pre-ordered Margarita, got there before it came out of the oven. Back home - 3 min - pizza is stone cold. When I stopped by later and explained, I was told: this happens sometimes. This was my first pizza express experience and pizzas were amazing, excellent – a larger, thinner, crispier base with great flavours. Menu : Sujuk Reale Pizza 🍕 Apollo Pizza 🍕 Location : Al Safa, Dubai Sujuk Reale - With love from ROME - This one is favourite and top in our list from Spicy lamb sausage, onion, hot green peppers, arrabbiata sauce and mozzarella. Finished with pomegranate molasses, roasted pine nuts, garlic lemon sauce, parsley and mint. Apollo - Tandoori chicken, mozzarella, passata, yellow peppers, green chillies and coriander. I must say if you are a pizza lover then Pizza Express brand is must include in your look out for pizza. Excellent food, service prompt, ambience is pleasing and very friendly staffMore
Truth be told I’m slightly embarrassed fessing up to have visited Pizza Express, the kids had an inset day from school and then again Prince Andrew apparently frequents the Branch in Woking ‘so why not?’ I thought. Big mistake. Possibly the worst service we have ever seen. The waiter had an air about him that was unwelcoming and arrogant, getting his attention was so challenging (despite it not being busy) that we considered tweeting our order and tagging Pizza Express. We eventually ordered. Being a top of his game ‘trendy’ waiter he naturally refused to write down our order, using what was clearly a fantastic memory in order to retain the information. The food came, minus the food for one person. We politely let him know that we were missing some food. Rather than admitting his mistake and preparing the food he chose to engage in a full blown argument, insisting that we didn’t order what we were quite sure we had. I’ve never seen anything quite like this before and would never go to this place again.More
