My first out of Abu dhabi trip since covid started and it really is really worth the 3 hour drive. Service was impeccable from check in to check out. Spacious Villa style room setting with a nice view of the mountains helped get the much needed recharge away from the bustling city vibe. Upon check-in, they hand out a guide map of the nearby spots that are a must go to for tourist, such as hatta dam, honey bee farm and mountain bike activities. Facilities are also accesible with a lot of variations. They have 2 type of pool -adult and kids. They also have a mini golf, giant chess board, tennis court and my favorite encounter with the deers and peacocks. In addition they offer an airgun shooting and archery at a very affordable rate. Our stay comes with a complimentary breakfast which has a lovely idea of order from the menu, I totally support this initiative of zero food waste. Overall experience was lovely and highly recommended.More
We had a brilliant 2 night stay. Everything was just perfect and so relaxing - the staff across the hotel are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Super relaxing ambience and well worth the price.More
This was our first stay at JA Hatta Fort Hotel and it was the perfect escape from Dubai. Classic resort feels, green lawns, relaxation and lots of torch lit pathways for an after dinner stroll. Minigolf, petanque and 2 pools means you always have sun and shade. Rooms are as pictured and feel like individual cabanas complete with terrace. Breakfast in the gazebo with a view over the pool and up to the mountains is great-omelette, pastries, fruit and good coffee! Dilshan and the whole team made us feel welcome and were just the right amount of attentive! The hotel is only 5 minutes drive from the Hatta Wadi Hub where there are lots of great activities.More
Had a pleasant stay. The stay and exploring the place on its own(solo) without your own car was a bit challenging and expensive. Still I made the best out of my two night stay. Thanks to multiple activities available and captivating view around the resort. Dilshan from Sri Lanka in the restaurants team was really friendly and approachable guy.we had a brief conversation about our native places and hatta in general. Which was like a plus point in the solo travel (to meet and get to know new people) More
Nice property, a bit dated though. Customer service is very ordinary. We were there to celebrate our daughter's 8th birthday. Emailed them well before to check which activities will be available for kids to plan how we could make it enjoyable for the kids.. however no one responded. Although we booked direct from JA Fort website, and Entertainer has an offer to avail a complimentary night, however they did not allow us to use the Entertainer voucher at all stating non-availability of the offer for this month. Even though it was our daughter's birthday, did not feel the tiniest initiative from any of the staff to make it a bit special for her which is usually a sign of good hospitality service. The breakfast is very basic, and also overall guest services quite slow. The cleanliness was below par. There were hair on bed and the sofa, from the previous guests which should have been cleaned before our arrival. The footstool in the balcony had spots from spillage, which seems to have hardened over past few days. Even while the staff visited the room to check up on the extra beddings etc., they did not bother to either change any of the used glasses or tea cups in the room, or to empty the open dustbin which was full to the top. Eventually had to tie up the bin bag ourselves, and request for fresh glasses which surprisingly took over an hour to arrive. Their green open areas is a nice contrast from the surroundings though, and the activity of Kite flying was good for the kids. The staff for Kite flying was quite helpful too.More
