I stayed at Novotel muscat airport frequently and it never disappoint in term of cleanness, overall comfort and breakfast. The only issues I faced is the slow check-in and uncomfortable AC. The room is too cold even if the AC is switched off. Minimum ventilation is still running and keeps the room under 18 degrees. More
Having an early flight back home, the Novotel at the airport was a good option. I contacted the hotel directly which provided me with a discount code for Accor's website which was then cheaper than on other sites. The infrastructure is new and well maintained. The rooms are modern and have a "standard" look and feel for a business hotel. While technically close to the airport, it still takes about 10 minutes by taxi to reach it. Given its remote location, the only real food options are at the hotel which can be pricey. The hotel fully met our needs with the only drawback is the lack of shuttle bus which is a pity for an airport hotel. Taxi costs are about 8 OMR one way.More
We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights. Check in process went smoothly. Props to Justin for giving us extra bed for free which made our stay comfortable - that gesture was very much appreciated! We thought the layout of the room was okay as well as the cabinet fixtures. The standard room that we booked only had a single window. To be honest, the room was a bit dark during the day as there was not much natural light. It did create a nice ambience at night, although it would've been nicer if there were more light fixtures. Bathroom experience wasn't the most pleasant as the water was regularly warm. There was no way to regulate the water temperature on the colder side. We are not sure if this was a common issue with the hotel, as this was our first experience with them. Housekeeping is not round the clock so make sure to call them early while they are available. Sohag was very good from housekeeping. Breakfast was not too crowded during our stay. They have an okay selection of food to choose from. Bhuwan and Saad were great. They offered great customer service and were happy to accommodate some request. The pool was nice, however it can get really crowded at times as it was quite small. The guy in charge at the gym and pool was professional with his job and approachable.More
I emailed to reservation team 2 days before my check in date but no one replied that’s why I decided just to book online, tried to call them as well and no one picking up. Upon arrival I was assisted by Justin from front desk, and the manager or supervisor i think which is atlast got a proper service from them. And the guy at the breakfast who is alone but still manage to give a good service as well. The room is clean, but amenties are missing like i need to call how many times just to have hair dryer because no one picking up also in the operator.More
