Stayed here for a night to celebrate my birthday. Unexpectedly upgraded to a One Bedroom Pool Villa and it was amazing. They placed a birthday amenities in the room as well. The staff were very polite and friendly. You can feel it when someone is being genuine. A service from the heart. As we stayed here during a pandemic, the hotel was not as alive and the restaurant menu was very limited. But we still enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back in the future when all back to normal. Thank you for making this trip so memorable!More
We stayed during pandemic, Sept 2020, we know it IS pandemic, but this hotel spare no expense. We felt safe because i see it with my eyes how they preserved the cleanliness, with their own team, they cleaned thoroughly the sink in the public bathroom. Checking in is a breeze, the hotels feels still well maintained despite pandemic, breakfast is excellent, they bring breakfast to our villa and it is quite generous in portion. The villa itself is amazing, abundant in amenities, they spare no expense in service. Anything you need, they provided in a flash. We asked for bicycle, not more than 10 min it is outside our gate, we asked for buggy, not more than 10 min it is already ready. So, sometimes i wonder, there MUSTbe something to distinguish 5 star hotel with the other, because i had stayed in other 5 star hotel too, accor or other brand, and i feel okay, but not WOW. Sofitel didn't dissapoint, we stayed at So Sofitel, and Sofitel Sentosa, and they all have a same standard. So in general, i think Sofitel should have a 9 star. Because it IS different from other 5 stars hotel.More
My kids Lien love to play at Kids club And she doesnt want to go back home since she enjoyed her treasure hunt and play indoor with Miss asri the friendly staff there We enjoy the time But the time so short and we should go back home Thanks asri, thanks sofitelMore
We booked a LUXURY ROOM, CLUB MILLÉSIME ACCESS, 1 KING SIZE BED, POOL ACCESS at Sofitel and were so looking forward to our short stay there but have been very disappointed so far. These hotel itself is impressive and walking into the lobby you get the wow factor not only for the lobby itself but the view from it. Check in was easy with some of the hotel facilities explained and we received an upgrade to a 1 bedroom villa with pool but as an Accor Plus Platinum member for many years I tend to expect an upgrade if available. We were escorted to our room by Niki in a buggy and he fantastic and once reaching the villa he was vey thorough in pointing out how everything worked. The villa was in perfect condition and beautifully presented with a blend of asian and western styles. We had lunch at the Toya Beach Bar Grill which is the only place to eat and although a simple menu it was great for lunch and the food was good with exceptional service from Oka. So far so good :) but that's were it ends. Asking about the Millisime Club were were told it is currently closed....what that's never been mentioned until now. Asked about the alternatives offer and were advised nothing so paying extra for club access meant nothing. I have received many emails from Accor and Sofitel prior to checking in and nothing was every mentioned about this...I know times are tough but if its not available don't offer it for sale. Dinner was again at Toya which was the same menu as lunch which is hardly a fitting dinner menu...where is a decent piece of beef or chicken (unless you want a hamburger). We couldn't sit in the main area because of some sort of photo shoot so ended up at a side table on the beach...again no sort of communication of this and my fries (that's all I had) were nothing like the ones from lunch which were fluffy and golden but tonight they were golden and under cooked inside. When paying the bill ordered 2 Bintang's to the room which arrived promptly but when I went to open 1 both were already open....this is a 1st for me in any hotel. The minor things missing from my expectations were the welcome gift, fruit basket and turndown which is part of my status and membership but they are not important due to the current situation and cost cutting that needs to happen to keep any business viable. Just communicate what is currently offered at the hotel and give guests what they have paid for and live up to the Sofitel reputation.More
I had a pleasant holiday stayed at Sofitel Nusa Dua, We were book for ocean front room, but at that time we were upgraded to One bedroom villa with pool and My daughter glad to knew that one villa with pool was the most incredible accomodation that we’ve stayed. Due to covid-19 Pandemic, all things and the villa are Clean, Safety and clean things are the measure for choose the accomodationMore
