The golf course is really good and challenging with multiple tee options for all the type of golfers. Hope the new club house is finished any time soon.Read more
Have played this course a number of times now and it has never been disappointing. It takes about 30 mins from Dubai if the traffic not too bad, but it's worth travelling there. The staff are very welcoming and the course is in great condition. It's a tricky but quality course. The fairway grass is great and the greens are readable and the ball runs true. would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of a challenge. There are several hotels you can stay at in Ajman.Read more
The golf course had the fairways undergoing a bit of maintenance but the overall state of the course was excellent. Greens were true, consistent and very well maintained. Bunkers are still too soft in many places. Pace of play was good - 3.30 on a Friday morning. Not your 4.30 round which you see in most clubs in Dubai on busy days. I have now played the course about 10 times and I am yet to see the high tide and proper water surrounding most of the holes which I think would make it a very different course. The service as always good and attentive including active marshals ensuring pace of play. Saturday afternoon the wind was blowing which made it a more challenging and interesting experience. Very competitive twilight rates.Read more
Alzorah is a great golfcourse in the middle of a natural reserve with hundreds of birds to see. The course is quite new and in perfect conditions. We have rearely (or rather never) had perfect greens like these. Also it is a fair course still a bit tricky but never lets you down. We played in Feb. at great weather. Not too cold, not too warm. The crew is fabulously friendly and helpful all the time. As the actual setup of the club-house is only temporary, you have to take a buggy as every round is 15 km long - so really hard to walk. Actually, the club-house is quite strange and everyone is hoping that constructions for the planned final clubhouse starts soon. It could become great.Read more
Don’t be put off by the nearby motorway, the odd-looking clubhouse and the endless pathway to get to the first hole...this is a huge development project only in its infancy and it sometimes look like a building site ! But once on first hole the course is in pristine condition, the staff very friendly and the service first class. The J Nicklaus design is as often made of a lot of water, treacherous greens and lots of traps. But it is very enjoyable to play. While on the fairway you can order almost anything from the bar, I had a cafe latte and it was delivered hot and on the course within minutes. The Pro shop is not very big, contrary to the bar and restaurant that are too big and a bit cold, but once again if you come to play good golf that’s the place ! I will go back. Read more
