This hotel is a very good choice for people that want to get far away from any noise, business, stress etc. It is so laid back and boutique. Really not too many rooms so you see not more that than just a few faces a day, most of them is staff, so really feeling special as a guest there. The beach is unique, not a single soul out there. Just amazing. The staff is very friendly. We booked 5 nights but when we stayed there we booked another 4 as it was such a good choice. Try the message right next to the hotel on the beach. Read more
We stayed at Akyra for a week and enjoyed every moment of it! Food was delicious, the beach was immaculate and every aspect of our stay was really taken care of, y o the last detail. Our first trip to Thailand and everyone at Akyra made us feel like home, really. We were out of the hotel for a couple of activities and coming back felt exactly like coming back home. We’re absolutely thankful to all the staff, they are extremely friendly and accommodating! We’ll definitely come back.Read more
We chose this resort because it's a sister resort of Aleenta, which is one of our favourites in Thailand. And Akyra did not disappoint one bit! It's a small boutique resort with excellent service, staff, food! We stayed at seaview villa (thank you for a free upgrade), just two steps away from the beach. The beds were comfy, the bathroom spotless and beautifully appointed. We enjoyed sipping champagne from our villa porch while watching the sunset. The food and drinks were tasty. Tuna poke bowl and infused tuna salad are highly recommended! Breakfast had a well-balanced choice from a la carte menu and buffet, including healthy and vegan options. The long stretch of beach was clean with an easy access to the sea and good for the morning running. The resort offered stand-up paddle broads, yoga classes and other activities. The staff at the reception desk, cleaning and restaurant were very attentive. Amazing weekend getaway from polluted Bangkok! We cannot wait to be back! :)Read more
My partner and I stayed here for 7 nights following a 2 night stay in Bangkok. The hotel itself was very quiet and relaxing which was perfect following our hectic stay in Bangkok. The staff were so friendly and were helpful in every aspect of our stay ! We ate at Club Akyra and also at the 2 restaurants at the sister hotel which was just a short walk (or the hotel minibus will take you for free), these were the Natai (Thai food) and The Edge (more western type food), but mainly ate at the lovely restaurant opposite the hotel called Co Sea, which was also so cheap ! Beach was lovely and clean and so was the pool, all in all a brilliant stay !Read more
I have so many good things to say about Aykra... Starting with June who works there, she was amazing and welcoming and always had a smile and willing to help we left Akyra feeling like we made a new friend. Thanks for everything June. Akyra was relaxing fun the food is amazing the rooms are great the staff is fantastic. There are so many place to go to in this world but Akyra is one place I'll be happy to go back to... One downer about Akyra is that we didn't want to leave when it was time to head back to SA.Read more
