Nothing special. The marsala chicken was ok but a bit slimy lacking in taste and mushrooms hard Staff mainly attentive and good. One youth ignored customers to play on his phone Wine selection quite good even by glass Read more
The set menu is perfect, something for everyone. Started off with a salad, vegetable pasta, than coffee at the end. Service was awesome and Mike was very accommodating. Will be back definitely for dinner! Read more
Pizza and lamb-chops are great. Steak is juicy, but it would be better if it is thicker. Good service!Read more
Excellent place to dine with friends and family. Great ambience and delicious food. Food is not cheap but affordable. Staff is attentive and professional. As a old habit i don’t leave the restaurant without trying their best dessert and The Copa big Italian sundae is worth trying. Will definitely come again.Read more
When we lived in Hong Kong Amaroni's was always the site for special events, birthdays, catching up with friends etc so we rushed back on our first night in town. What a mistake! The first disapointment was the bread - you used to get a basket of different breads and crunchy fresh baked rolls to fight over. No one even bothered to finish the oily fingers of tasteless stale roll that masquereded as garlic bread and the inclusion of a sweet blueberry muffin had us all puzzled. Service was dreadful - we asked five times to order and each time the frazzled wait staff rushed off saying they would be back. The water glasses were dirty and the water tasted so bad that we had to order bottled water. The meat platter was disgusting - the "Italian" meatballs were full of five spice powder , the rosemary chicken was dry and hard, the vegetables were more than "al dente' they were raw and the ribs were cold. Fortunately, the ravioli was still good - the change from semi-sundried tomatoes to fresh baby tomatoes was in keeping with the season. We couldn't order any further drinks because we couldn't get the staff's attention - they were busy socialising around the bar.Read more
