Awesome place right by the mangroves where one can go by boat or kayaks. Heated pool, jacuzzi and a great deck restaurant cum bar summarizes the outdoors. Rooms are well appointed and good sized. We had an interconnected suite. Restaurants are good and serve multiple kinda cuisines. Quite reasonably priced. One glitch they made was covered up well with amends and offers. So all good there. However one shocker was that the hotel dint have an HDMI cord to link up laptop to the TV! We wanted to watch the WC finals on the big screen but they had nothing to support the technical backup. Strange for a 5* hotel. Dint use the spa so can't comment. Kettle was rusted but promptly replaced. Boiled eggs for a toddler wasn't freshly boiled; it was from the morning buffet. But overall definitely a place to go to with fam or even couples. Lots of places along the promenade to walk to to go dining.

I do not recommend this spa. I have been there on the 15/07 and had a "Bespoke balance spa" booked for 150min. They changed the formula because i was pregnant and told me they would do a massage for an 1,30h instead of having another 30m treatment included in the package... The therapist finished the massage after an hour and ten minutes instead of 90 minutes, when i made the remark she said that she would "continue the massage" while i was getting my facial. She barely continued the massage and the quality of it was quite bad for the cost. They charged me 1500 aed for a quick facial and short massage which is quite a rip off when the quality and timing are not respected. Please avoid!!!

Amazing massage, but the facilities are outdated. Cold jacuzzi without a proper water pressure was a joke. The music in a massage room was disturbing. Otherwise all was good.

Today, 18 November 2023, around 2 pm, I have visited Anantra spa but had to leave the spa within few minutes without getting the services. I wasn't comfortable with the therapist who has been assigned to me and I asked for another therapist, who was also free, but the spa attendant (her name is Ibtisam) refused to change therapist, and literally said that 'customers in Anantra do not have choice', and have to accept any therapist who is being presented to them. She further said that the customer does not have to see the therapist or look at the therapist during the session! Furthermore, the spa attendant refused to refund the money that has been charged to me for the services I didn't get, or guide me on the process for refund - daylight robbery! Ibtisam seemed very reluctant, rude and offensive, when I said that I will raise a complaint in respect of this matter. So far, I haven't been able to refund my money. Horrible experience and I will not visit this spa again as long as this spa attendant is there. Worst staff I have ever seen in any spa. I do not recommend this spa at all. Still waiting for Anantra management to take an action and refund my money back.

Me and my wife spent our 1st wedding anniversary in Anantara. Were super satisfied and we appreciate their hospitality. Every staff greets you, they are approachable. As soon as you enter the hotel, you will be hypnotized by the fragrance, it's impressive. The rooms were spacious. We loved the view of the mangroves during the day and the far city at night. I booked a romantic package surprise for my wife and she was very happy. Thanks for Varinder for the beautiful make of our bed everyday. We had a scrumptious romantic dinner in Pachaylen and breakfast in Ingredients. The Fall in Love in Anantara package is highly recommended. Of course, we did not pass up to experience kayaking in the mangroves. It was fun and fulfilling after you finished the activity. Overall, we enjoyed a lot during our stay, the customer service and experience was A+.
