As we talk about Armani hotel we expect a Plush of service , ambience and the meal. Facing the dancing fountains on the terrace of Armani hotel, the opulence and the view can’t get any better. We visited hashi for a Japanese dinner hoping the food and service to complement the beautiful surroundings. I found hashi to be an understaffed restaurant and poor service. Most of food was served cold and the waiters were slow In their service. The taste and presentation was very average. Surely a big letdown. More
Stunning view? Check. 5 star (at least) luxury? check. Pretentious over-priced food? Nope. Snooty service? Nope Eye-watering price for srinks? Nope It's just not at all what I expected. The service is warm and friendly. Our attendant Vipin couldn't do enough to make our evening. The prices - well this is Dubai and in the middle of downtown so don't expect it to be pain-free but all things considering it wasn't bad. A couple of the dishes were the equivalent of watching the chef do a triple back somersault in the pike position and very lovely too, quite a few of them on the Chinese set menu we had were just very simple exquisitely presented dishes, whose ingredients didn't need too many frills. And best of all, when we got home and had just found out that we'd left our house keys on the table, our attendant Vipin rang me to let me know that he'd picked them up. Thank you all at Hashi for a lovely evening.More
We had a wonderful evening Food is amazing - fresh , exciting , delicious Clearly wonderful chefs !! Great cocktails list .. drinks service a bit slow though lovely setting ..with beautiful views Staff and service excellent at the start but as place got busier - this deteriorated somewhat ... as was very busy !! Our starters were so wonderful We ordered another portion of sashimi but despite asking for this - it still Hadn’t arrived when our main courses had been served .....15 mins later Clearly had been forgotten about ... and staff not particularly apologetic about this which did spoil our experience a little . Especially as staff so friendly and accommodating on the whole Despite this would thoroughly recommend and we I’ll return again - as loved it ! More
We have frequented Hashi for at least six years now. We believe Hashi is the best place to enjoy Japanese food in Dubai. We took some guests for dinner and again Chef Jimmy and his team did not disappoint. Foods and services were excellent and our guests were deeply impressed. The restaurant is not cheap but definitely gives very high quality, not to mention that the view of Bujr Khalifa and the fountain are amazing.More
