There are no words to describe the experience lived during a splendid long stay of almost 3 years at this splendid location. It built-in the most peaceful, most elegant, and most beautiful place of Abu Dhabi, between the sea and the Qasr Al Watan, in front of the Emirates Palace. Class reception exactly in style with the context; Arab elegance is present in every corner, Environments pleasant to the eye while having a very Arabic appearance at times exactly as it appears in the photo. Excellent information about the structure. Needless to say, the extreme availability of the staff, as well as the positive charisma, received. I arrived at B&Q after few weeks from its opening and therefore I experienced all the problems that a new hotel presents at its opening with many problems to solve. The first months were not very peaceful but the beauty of the apartment and the commitment of all the staff to always solve every problem with a smile despite the fact that I often lost the patient made me stay, overcome the initial difficulties, the long stay was fantastic! Returning to Bab al-Qasr after a hard day's work was assured relaxation, feeling at home, in a familiar environment, I felt protected and pampered for all the years of my stay. All the managers, the technicians, all the staff worked with enthusiasm and desire to improve accepting also the criticisms, over the years I have made the structure grow and improve all the services and I hope they will always continue like this. A special thanks to the untiring Mr. Mostafa Tantawi who with his management has enriched the professionalism of B&Q. Thanks to the sweet and always professional Miss Hindi Thanks to Madam Marika. Thanks to the General Manager Mr. Nemo. Thanks to all the housekeeper staff, particularly Miss Daniela, who have always responded in an excellent way to my requests for cleaning and hygiene Thanks to all the engineers in particular and Mr. Maichol and Mr. Enriquez. In the past, I had had long stay experience in other hotels and residences of the same category around the world but at B&Q I found in addition to the comfortable and beautiful location, that human warmth difficult to find in similar locations. I will continue to travel and move around the world for work but I will hardly find what I left at Bab al-Qasr. Thank youMore
Spent 10 days at the Bab Al Qasr before the lockdown hit the world. The hotel is in a perfect situation at the end of the Corniche with wonderful views of the Presidential Palace and the Emirates Palace Hotel. Half board was perfect and the food choice superb. All the staff are extremely helpful and any problems were dealt with immediately e.g. slight leak in the loo, broken safe, battery in TV remote control. There is plenty to do and see and walking is easy and enjoyable from the hotel. Although the beach is smallish it was ideal for sunbathing and swimming. Alternatively the hotel pool is clean, warm and lifeguarded. I was upgraded to a Junior Suite on arrival which was amazing. I was also able to check in at 10.00am with only a short wait - so much appreciated as I'd had an overnight flight and just wanted to shower and 'crash out' for a while! Alcohol is very expensive to buy but that was expected; you can however bring a generous amount into the country. Next door to the hotel in the basement of the Ethiad Towers is a Waitress where you can buy snacks and supplies! The only tiny negative thing I can say about my stay was that the jet skis are VERY noisy. They aren't used all the time but most afternoons. On my last day there were 26 of them - the noise was unbearable and could still be heard in my room on the 22nd floor!More
We loved it so much! Great location to enjoy a view days in Abu Dhabi. A beautiful Hotel with even better service. We would not hesitate to come back and highly recommend this Hotel. Beautiful, spacious rooms with great views, e.g. to the Emirates Palace Hotel which you can reach in five minutes walk. The Etihad Tower is also in the immediate neighborhood. Nice pool area and a wonderful small beach with water activities next to the hotel. It’s not really fair to pick any one member out. But the very helpful friendly Concierge we saw every morning is worth to emphasize. Also, Sara from the reception desk tried very hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible. She organized an upgrade of our booking to a suite. A very spacious room on a higher floor with great views. I highly recommend a booking with "Club lounge entry". Quiet atmosphere, friendly service, good drinks and fabulous canapes, snacks. It could not be more beautiful. Because of the "Corona-shut down" we had a bit more time so I arranged two massages in the Spa by Anton. What an amazing experience! He made a really great job in a in a relaxing atmosphere. Afterwards I felt extremely relaxed and rested. Unfortunately the Spa had to be closed due to Corona restrictions. The breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent, a wide range of dishes from all over the world. There was nothing I missed. Only the service was not adequate, not really friendly and not attentive. It felt a little like mass processing. We did not like the atmosphere in the restaurant very much even though the food was very good. We hope that one day we’ll come back to your hotel to experience more of your wonderful food and friendly service.More
