Second visit after a good first experience. It was difficult to get the staff’s attention and service was slow. Drinks were only served after two reminders and dessert order required reminder from us. Steak also came cold and hard - different from the previous time which was much better. Read more

2nd time here and still love their food. The bedrock mac and cheese is a must try! They even gave us a complimentary birthday dessert! Read more
The great service from the staff was the first thing that I observed; staff were attentive and knowledgeable. I reserved a table for two for lunch as part of my mother's birthday celebration, and we were given a very comfortable table in a nice spot and lighting. We were one of the first few to enter the restaurant that day so it was all quiet and lovely, until more people started to enter and it got rather noisy, which kind of dampened the atmosphere. Not the restaurant's fault, of course. My mother isn't exactly a meat-lover, so I got her the grilled barramundi, and I went for the ribeye cap steak (medium rare) as recommended. We also got the French onion soup and their signature mac and cheese; the latter which I treated as my own starter despite it not being an actual starter dish as I couldn't resist a good mac and cheese. My partner got the Bedrock Whiskey Sour (I went for root beer as I had to drive). The complimentary naan and mac and cheese were amazing, as many people have noted. My partner pointed out that the onion soup was good but rather filling (I didn't taste it so I can't say much about it). The grilled barramundi (I took a bite out of it) was superb in looks, flavour and texture. As for the steak, it looked beautiful with a great sear on the outside. It was oddly hard to cut into. 'Maybe the knife is blunt', I thought. I took a bite and immediate thoughts were that it had great flavour and it was very juicy, but the meat wasn't tender as what I'd expect; it was somewhat tough and chewy. It was tough enough that I thought I had the wrong cut. Maybe it was just a one-off kind of incident since not all beef are created equal, but I can't deny that it was kind of disappointing considering steaks were their specialty. Before we left, my mother received a complimentary Bedrock Black Forest as we were settling the bill; flourless chocolate cake with shaved chocolate, white chocolate cream topped with brandied cherries. It was extremely rich and we really enjoyed it and appreciated the gesture. Nevertheless, the food was still good on overall despite the steak, and I'll be back to give it another try, this time perhaps opting for a ribeye cut of different beef instead (which are actually cheaper than the ribeye cap steak I got and seem to be getting good reviews here).Read more
It’s really tricky to write a constructive review. The food is delicious and the interior is very well designed - a trendy, industrial version of a steakhouse. If you can’t get an indoor table don’t bother going. Why would anyone want to pay $90 for a steak and sit in a busy, hot and noisy corridor! The indoor is lovely, but things have changed at Bedrock. Amazingly, for a relatively expensive meal, people are treating it just too casually. For what should be somewhat of a destination restaurant seems to be attracting just as many people in shorts and t-shirts indulging in their mobile phones. Unfortunately that has seriously ruined the atmosphere of a cool, mid to upper range restaurant. It’s not exactly the restaurant’s fault, as why would they turn away paying customers. However, it does make me wonder if l’ll ever go again - having been going there many many times since they opened. I honestly wish they were based somewhere off the beaten track. But then again, it’s tough to survive in those places. Read more
