I've been dine at this restaurant twice before. The food is delicious and the prices is reasonable. The environment is comfortable and the service is good. Will come again. Read more
The location is good at the heart of KL but the parking and other arrangements are terrible. Arrived 40 minutes late as the entrance was congested, parking problems and had to make a huge u-turn to park about 0.2km away and walk there. It was a busy Christmas eve but the staff did not make it look like it. Place is crammed and arrangement of tables and seats made it so difficult to move around the restaurant. Ordered their recommended truffles spaghetti and 2 glasses of stout. The only reason i am giving 2 stars is for the 2 excellent chilled glasses of stout. The spaghetti was mediocre with the grated cheese and truffle did not blend well with the dish making every bite difficult to swallow. Made it smell weird as well. Thankful for the stout and i used it to wash it all down. No photos unlike my other reviews as i did not enjoy the experience enough to have the mood to take any photo. Will definitely discourage friends to visit this place. Much better alternatives elsewhere. Probably the only good thing here is their happy hour drinks promotion which i think ends at 7pmRead more
I didn't know there are plenty of good and affordable food in Black Market. It was amazing and surprisingly very crowded.Read more
You see more and more, oil on cheap sales ? So disappointed and shy on a special treat to mum. No intention on revisit because all waiter saw it but have no intention to solve for us although we don't complain.Read more
I came to try here because it appeared on the famous food blog (Fun n Taste). It looks pretty yummy and interesting from the video. Parking is definitely a rip off, RM7 per entry (after 7pm onwards). The hokkien mee with siew yoke is over RM30 =.= I wouldn't pay that for a hokkien mee that usually tastes much better at a hawker stall. As for the RM0.80 beer, you are only entitled to one mug for each main course you order and it's a small mug. The pasta I had was the worst pasta I ever had. The pasta only had 3 scallops, and 2 had dirt ; aglio olio but had no chili flakes ; way too many fried onions that my pasta smelled weird ; and there's some green veggie not sure what it is that also made the pasta taste/smell weird. As for the slow cooked pork, it's also not good, and the dipping sauce has a very dense taste which is not enjoyable. The fries is just sprinkled with plain chili powder. I don't like it. The grilled squid is suprisingly good. The best dish that we ordered. Service was good and attentive until at the end of our dinner when we asked for the bill. We waved at 2 boys standing behind the beer counter outside, one of them clearly saw us waving our hands but he ignored us and didn't even call another waiter for us (if he's too lazy to move), he just looked away and pretended that he didn't see us waving. Defintely will not come back for the horrible, pricey food and rip off parking.Read more
