Spotted this place on Instagram, images from other people looked amazing so had to try it out. We went for the classic cheese fondue, really, really good. Great selection of European beers and spirits, super friendly service, and great venue.Read more
Don't recommend this place to anyone. Nice interiors, but that's as far it goes. Service is poor, slow and to be honest, some had an attitude. The food is overpriced for a mediocre experience. Had to ask for everything, despite it being a quiet Sunday. No one asked how our meal was. Very delayed in getting food, and had to ask for the third dish to arrive. Waiters seemed oblivious, and when the complaint was made, the waitress was accusatory and rude. Kudos to the manager Josh, though. He was understanding. Poor quantity/average quality of food for the price. Cold waffles, small portions of meat, little variety in vegetable for a Sunday roast. My friend made complaints in October, three emails, no replies. But, we were willing to giving it another chance. Owner needs to take note of what's going on in this establishment, and their email inbox, too. I'm sure there are plenty to get back to. Read more
Visited here on a Thursday night and the place was absolutely rammed and you can see why! Absolutely beautiful food, the meat was tender and delicious (as was everything else). Staff were helpful and very friendly. Value for money is good too especially for Manchester, portions are huge 👍🏼. Extremely enjoyed our visit and will be back in the near future. Read more
Myself and my partner dine out regularly as we are massive foodies. To my dismay, this was possibly the worst service we’ve received at a restaurant in years. We arrived for lunch having booked a table and were greeted by the moodiest waiter ever. Not entirely sure what was wrong, might have been the fact there were literally no other members of staff, but it made us feel uncomfortable from the get go. We waited forever to be served, then having to ask to be served after 30 minutes, no water, the waiter pouring wine into both glasses without warning or being able to try it (my partner wasn’t even drinking any wine), some of the food came out cold, and extremely small portions. Basically, if you buy the peppercorn fondue you’re paying £35 for a board of fries. Very minuscule things but as a collective were very annoying. Average food, but I think if the staff had more manners it would have been a more enjoyable experience.Read more
About 50% of the items on the menu weren’t available, some of the meals ordered were simply forgotten leading to several of group going hungry. By way of apology the waiting staff offered to take the cost of our desserts off the bill... despite the fact we hadn’t had any desserts. Waiting staff were slow and uninterested. The ‘manager’ came up with some boilerplate excuses about the kitchen being disorganised that day. 1 star is extraordinarily generous: best avoided at all costs.Read more
