Popped in one Saturday afternoon to see what's what, as recommended by a friend. The menu was of a good length and what we ordered, a sausage buoy (read: buttie) for me and a veggie buoy for the other, was delightful. Tasty and undoubtedly filling, and at £5.95 in the centre of Liverpool, pretty damn good.Read more
Called in to Bold Street Coffee as you can always be guaranteed a great coffee. We ordered a macciato and a peppermint tea. Service was friendly and helpful, order taken and drinks were brought to us at our table. Clean surroundings, team here quickly clear and clean tables. We've been here several times and always get great service and delicious drinksRead more
For a simple filtered coffee I was surprised at the price when first looking and the size certainly didn’t really make that any better. However, the flavour of the coffee was fantastic and the right temperature to drink straight away instead of waiting too long. The service was nice and friendly but probably wouldn’t go back unless I was a complete coffeecionado!Read more
We only arrived in Liverpool by train about two hours before a film booking at FACT in Wood Street and with a quick luggage drop off at our hotel popped across the City to our evening destination. Looking from the FACT entrance back across the joining road to Bold Street we spotted the coffee shop which looked, and proved to be, very inviting. Great vibes on a busy Friday evening, excellent fruit bread and salad plus superb coffee together with welcoming and efficient staff.Read more
Came here for a coffee the other day - its always busy so assumed it would be amazing but my expectations weren't met - sorry! I had a slice of chocolate cake which was totally overpriced - it was £3.95 and myself and my friend found it very poor. Very disappointing! Coffee is good and the atmosphere is nice (when you finally get a seat!)Read more
