Traditional fish restaurant from the 1960s serving grilled and fried seafood and other Arabic food (such as hummus, kebabs etc.) It is a tad overpriced considering the location and poor upkeep of the restaurant with basic furniture and broken a/c. It's a shame because the quantity and quality of food are pretty good and the restaurant itself has quite a bit of history with patronage from HH none the less! Will definitely want to stop here again for the food, but they should consider renovating the interiors.

Food over cooked and pricey! Bateen branch is way better. Sorry but i can eat that no more.

Definitely my first and last time at Bu Tafish. The BuTafish seafood soup looks slimy, and the fish inside cannot be fresh. The grilled shrimps with garlic and lemon were very dry and SPICY!! Why were they spicy? The shrimp sizes are tiny compared to the price especially that the they are priced per piece rather than weight. Total rip off.

I rated the restaurant 2 years ago with 4 stars when the food was good. I tried the restaurant today and the food was really bad and the king fish has been frozen for long time. I don’t recommend the restaurant anymore and the prices increased for no reason!!
