I visited Imperial Chakri Palace KLCC for lunch with my family and we were impressed by the quality and variety of the Thai food. The restaurant is located on the fourth level of Suria KLCC, a popular shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant has a spacious and elegant interior, with a VIP room for private events. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was fast and efficient.
The menu offers a wide range of dishes, from appetizers, salads, soups, curries, noodles, rice, seafood, meat, vegetables, desserts, and beverages. The food is prepared with fresh organic ingredients, low cholesterol cooking oil, and no MSG or artificial preservatives. The restaurant also has a halal certification from Jakim, which means that the food is lawful and permissible for Muslims to consume. The restaurant follows the Islamic principles of slaughtering, cleansing, and processing the food in the name of God.
We ordered the tom yam soup, the green curry chicken, the pineapple fried rice, the crispy fish with mango salad, and the mango sticky rice for dessert. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The food was delicious and flavorful, with a balance of spicy, sour, sweet, and salty tastes. The tom yam soup was rich and aromatic, with a hint of lemongrass and lime. The green curry chicken was creamy and tender, with a touch of basil and coconut milk. The pineapple fried rice was fragrant and colorful, with chunks of pineapple, cashew nuts, and raisins. The crispy fish with mango salad was crunchy and refreshing, with a tangy dressing of lime juice and fish sauce. The mango sticky rice was sweet and satisfying, with ripe mango slices and coconut cream.
We enjoyed our meal at Imperial Chakri Palace KLCC and we would recommend it to anyone who loves Thai food and halal food. The restaurant offers a royal and authentic Thai dining experience, with a halal twist. It is a great place to visit for lunch or dinner, with family or friends.
