We love our room here. The view and the space of the room are great. The breakfast is good, definitely better tgan Banyan Tree Krabi. Hower the service needs to improve. We had to call 3 times to change the broken body wash bottle. It was not changed till the second night of our stay. Our cousin has to make several calls to get towels and same for is. The frequency of boat schedule to Iconsiam needs to be increased. Would we stay again? probablyMore
We stayed at Chatrium Riverside for 3 nights following a Samui trip and were very impressed. We are a family of four (2 teenage children) and we had a 2 bedroom suite with balcony and Riverside views. The staff and service were top quality, and the breakfast and room service also excellent. Facilities were also generally great, although "The Curve" club experience was surprisingly underwhelming, with attendees being crammed into a very small area....we tried it twice and on the second visit decided to go outside the hotel for drinks. I understand that this (limited club facilities) is a temporary arrangement, so might not be an issue for long. The other area where the hotel can improve is to keep the pool bar open until late (not close at 8pm), failing which there is nowhere to really relax with a drink until late in the evening if you don't want to go out. Another area to improve is the drinking water. The hotel should have a filtered water refilling station accessible to guests, who do not want to continue to buy plastic bottles (which litter the entire country from what we could see!). Chatrium could make one small contribution to the litter problem in Thailand if they provided such a facility. Apart from those two observations, a very fine hotel.More
This was our first visit to Bangkok and what a great hotel this turned out to be. Really clean, service was excellent and food in the restaurant was superb with a really good selection. Have to say thank you to Mr Chatmongkol who helped us on arrival, sorted out an issue with the room and always made us very welcome. We had a riverside view room and the views across the river and Bangkok skyline were fantastic. Location was great and we loved the nearby Night Market. More
I loved the Chatrium Hotel and am struggling to think of any negative points to raise. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, city view suite which was huge and great for my family. Having a kitchenette which large fridge was useful and a nice balcony too. The buffet breakfast was excellent. We did have to sit in the bar area on one morning as it was busy but the staff were still attentive. We didn't eat in the the restaurant but the pool area was great and the cocktails delicious! The staff overall were efficient and friendly. We went to Asiatique for a few meals which is a 15-20 minute walk way or a short ride in a taxi/tuk tuk (quickly arranged by reception). The hotel river boat is a lovely touch to link to the BTS, our main means of getting around. Having a 7 Eleven and a Starbucks on sight was a bonus too. If I come back to Bangkok, I will definitely return here.More
We stayed at the Chatrium for a few days before going to Phuket, this hotel is an absolute gem. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were brilliant, so helpful. We had a 2 bedroom suite overlooking the river which had fantastic views. also after a long day in Bangkok, the hotel pool was a great place to cool off and relax. We only had breakfast in the hotel but it was so varied and wonderfully cooked. After breakfast you could take the hotels private boat down the river to connect to other boats or trains. I would recommend this hotel for anybody looking for a peaceful sanctuary in Bangkok but close enough to explore all the sightsMore
