i stayed in the hotel in October and had breakfast in the restaurant, every morning. I highly recommend because the buffet has so many options and there is something for everyone. The staff is very nice and attentive, one of them from Kenya will remember our orders from the previous day and offer same to us or ask if we wanted something different. Unlike in most hotel restaurant buffets , the Omelette was on demand you could choose what you wanted in it and they will make it as you like. lots of salads, smoothies, fruit juice and fruits as well. The hospitality staff at this venue are the best. Samuel in particular made each mornings breakfast special and catered for our needs perfectly and politely. The kitchen staff and front of house are all so helpful. Well done team!More
Delicious iftar buffet! Wonderful selection of salads. Great prawn biryani. Love the desserts! Especially the Turkish Delights and Umm e Ali. The restaurant staff is polite and go out of their way to serve their guests.More
This review is about Cilantro with address King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud St - Al Sufouh 2 – Dubai, located in Arjaan by Rotana. It was messed up starting from the booking with a Nepalis female and unluckily, meet and greet by her and get services by her. You can clearly see that the staff divided themselves into groups of Filipinos and Nepalis and service with unhappy faces. We were given far end, dark corner table by this Nepalis staff (Tierndy or Fidey… something). Even she decline to serve drinks claiming its not available and on arguing that I am going to pay all the extras, another staff came with the drinks, when asked for more, she came and said no, only one 1, I was forced to call the manager to sort this and this gentleman said I was fully covered with no extra charge as it was part of my booking, what a shock (Sorry I don’t recall his name, tall, dark Indian). the food was very less for the guests coming to dine and a lot of guests were turned back and the restaurant was closing, another shock. Valentine’s day was ruined due to this Nepalis Staff for the rest of the evening. Rotana known for their good food quality, they should not risk their name with such bad behavior staff. lastly some of the staff without masks and others tend to cover their mouth only. The Indian Security man, ran extra mile to offer us free parking at the hotel and asked to follow him, bless you young man there are still good souls in this world.More
On the day of our arrival Rotana Arjaan, we tried the business lunch in "Cilantro" the house restaurant, this was a hit with my family and friends. We had the most delicious and fresh salads, soups, and amazing spaghetti, it made our first day truly memorable. The staff in the restaurant were wonderful, specifically the waiter Katherin including manager Kartik. The Chefs are exceptional.
