That is they supply earplugs for the nuisance noise they are the authors of. It comes from their own ground floor bar below the bedrooms. So they know they are selling a cr#p nights sleep before you're handed your room key. Imagine with me as I describe lying in the dark with eyes shut wondering whether to ditch the unfamiliar discomfort of the useless earplugs that do nothing to address feeling as much as hearing the zubzubzub bass. Then the groggy feeling as the early alarm goes off a few hours later in the 'wrong timezones' and the affect on work performance throughout the day. Raising to director of sales (no response back) and the duty manager didn't generate any action "can't move you we are full" Stay was a catalogue of further issues. They scheduled the Airport pickup car for the wrong day. The email was clear - flight due to arrive 23:59 on 16th. On check in at approaching 2.30am big fuss "company to pay now 4 nights". On check out big fuss "you pay dinner cash". No I said its full account to company you screwed up on arrival now your doing it again. Duty 'manager' simply a jobs worth "I agree it doesn't make sense but I've spoken to the director and you have to pay.." great but this was a first use so also the evaluation. The evaluator is now itemising the long list of ways that service improvement needs to be applied. Already agreed somewhere else next month. They also charged for a breakfast everyday even though not taken. Now I have to recover the dinner cost. I'm a gold card holder so discounted meals apply but company pre charged at full rate. Meeting room catering bills every day inflated by at least one person over number we actually had present. Meeting room: three tables set for 9 people. Cramped in like that is clearly daft. Is this the first time they've hosted a meeting? At least they responded when asked for 2 more tables (except "we've only got one"). AV not set up in advance so scrabble at 8am for 830 start (I was there at 0730 but they weren’t) Projector appalling image, ghosting and washed out. Too many connections in the cables probably but the 'IT expert' wouldn't listen to the dumb 'uses a conf center every week' customer. 'Expert' 'adjusts' brightness and contrast settings. Dumb user does better adjustment at days first break :( Walls unsuitable for displaying workshop work in progress :( Seems selling an unsuitable room is endemic Communications with conf staff civil but not timely, not the smooth easy efficiency the competition typically manages missing to align domestics, safety, catering, facilities,… Break time catering mostly unmatched to our needs so mostly it was untouched at end of day - Waste of money - Overall the meeting room experience was at the ‘adequate’ threshold. I'll summarize as 70% of what it should be. Main restaurant food and restaurant staff were the highlight. Both good. Not redeeming of everything else AND price versus need (a simple mid week business stay evening meal) way out of balance - The 'account to company' was apparently only valid in the main restaurant (I asked explicitly, Now I wonder why?). The list goes on EG the Bathroom: clean but also usability points like the hazard climbing in and out of the bath to shower - A design with style at the expense of safety. I'll just summarize this aspect as a 60% score when 95% or 99% is the norm else where. There's more. I'm fatigued listing it. If your looking for a bedroom during a business trip with the hope and expectation of decent sleep book elsewhere Car back to the airport did do as expected without friction!Read more
Stayed at Crowne Plaza Doha- The Business Park for 2 days. Stay was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice, enjoyed alot. AMRENDRA served us in restaurant for breakfast. Happy with the stay and behaviour of hotel staff.Read more
I stayed here last month on an overnight visit to Doha while waiting for a flight back to the US.The hotel is about 15 or 20 minutes away from Hamad International Airport depending on Traffic.They offer a Shuttle to and from the Airport but you must book it when you make your reservation or you will end up waiting at the airport or you can take a taxi.The rooms are spacious and very clean and the staff is very attentive.They have two or 3 restaurants in the hotel and if none of these appeal to you then you can walk to one of the others in the business park.The hotel also has a rooftop pool and hot tub next to one of the bars.The pool and hot tub were both crystal clear and enjoyable.I would stay there again the next time I visit.Read more

Hotel amenities, access to major destinations all are great. But compared to multiple IHG Hotels, staff lack commitment, politeness and they simply forget what they agree to the customer. I stayed for three nights during January 2020 and was enquiring about their one specific service (meeting room). Their event management team contacted me, but they have not honored what they agreed to confirm back. (Official quotation and assurance to come next evening 6:00pm to show the options they have for the event). On third day I explained my concern to the front desk while I was checking out and they told they will surely inform the event team and reply me ASAP. Today it’s a week over already and no one replied yet. Again, today noon I contacted their front desk for release of my credit card blocked amount, but First Lady I talked was not able to even understand proper English. Later the duty manager took it over and he assured they will email the bank copying me for a follow up, that is not yet done. (I called them around 1:00pm Qatar time today). Also he confirmed the Sales and marketing director will call me in half hour from 1:00pm, no one called yet. This seems silly for few, but it’s not the right approach from a 5 star rated hotel staffs. I am a IHG reward member, so basically that also is not taken into good consideration. Lastly, even one of the restaurant staff was not impressive, he had a partiality while handling different guests. Really the staffs are not up-to the mark.Read more
