We came here for a groupon deal and it was a bargain, unsure of usual drink prices. We had 4 cocktails each which were alright, the food wasn’t quite to our taste but the chicken bites smelled fab at the next table. The staff are friendly and environment is chilled. There’s games out to play, pool tables at the back and music in the background (not too loud so you can actually have a conversation) Good place for groups and couples.Read more
Myself and my beautiful wife decided to book a deal at this bar through Groupon. We were most surprised by the quality of the food and quantity. The burgers were delicious and my wife was more than happy with her choice of a strawberry dacharay cocktail -she professed that it tasted better than the ones she had when we were in Florida -a definite recommendation for anyone who likes cocktails! There are pool tables available, however, I would recommend that the management overhaul them as the tables are marked and some of the pool balls have chips out of them -also you are charged £3:00 for 30 minutes -not good if your partner is a slow player! We will no doubt re-visit this bar as the staff were very welcoming and polite - well done guys as good customer service should be rewarded.Read more
My girlfriends and me stopped here for drinks but will not be coming back. We were waiting 10 minutes or me to be served at the bar while other customers who came up would be served immediately. The staff would wander away to do other things or just chat among themselves while we stood trying to get their attention. I can understand if the place was busy but at least acknowledge your customers and make an effort to smile.Read more
We came as a group to the Drury Bar for some after dinner relaxing. Although the atmosphere and vibe of the venue was good, and the quality of the drinks and food could not be faulted, we found the service to be lacking. As a group of 10 people, we took a seat at a large table where the previous group had only just left. While someone did come to clear up the empty glasses and plates, little effort was made to clean and sanitise the table which at this point was covered in ketchup stains and patches of spilled drink. After 10 minutes, I personally went to the bar to ask for some help and waited patiently for people already at the bar to be served but was still ignored by the staff. Another customer approached and was served immediately. In total it took at least 15 minutes for a simple wipe and spray of our table. This would have been acceptable in a busy venue, had I not been casually ignored while others were immediately served. Needles to say, the staff need some training in customer service and being more aware of their surroundings.Read more
