Great location, nice setting, interesting drinks but food is a big let down.
Located at TST East across the Star of Avenue. There's outdoor seating to enjoy the harbour view on a nice day.
We like the industrial decor and interesting lighting and details. The outdoor lounges and fountain are a bonus.
Cocktail list is original and well presented. At around HKD110-150, they should be more generous in the amount of spirit to be served nonetheless.
Food is a big let down. The portion is generous but cannot be described as authentic Spanish whatsoever. It feels like a heavy an unfortunate local adaptation. The deep fried calamari and chicken nuggets are OK but are pub food standard. The duck cigar should be called a duck spring roll. Croquette and kimchi seem to be a misfit. Pizza base tastes frozen. Chorizo are dry and way too salty. Pink sauce Penne is heavy and uninspiring. The prawn paella has no crust and lack flavours.
There's simply no magic or Spanish flair or passion in the food. More the shame given the lovely setting and location!
We may consider coming back for a drink and to enjoy the ambience. But might be hesitant to do so given the price of the drinks. The food though, can be so much better.
