Espresso Alchemy

Really cute coffee shop with very friendly service and great coffee and tea. The Matcha Latte was excellent. It's close enough to the offices to be easy and has a great vibe. Quiet enough for good conversation.

excellent espresso! my favorite is flat white, rich, bitter with naturally sweetness (only if it's made in Peter's style - the founder). a good result of great coffee and good milk.

Tiny cafe right next door to McCafe - coffee much better here of course! Regular latte is a litte milky so ask for extra shot if you want something stronger.

Good coffee shop for the area. My egg blt sandwitch was pretty good. Long black was ok. All for 77hkd. Overall vibe is ok. Better than the one in TST though that one serves more food.

Espresso Alchemy is one of the few specialty coffee shops on the Eastern part of Hong Kong island. The coffee here is very good. It is close to my office and I’ve had the latte, cappuccino, flat white, and pour over. I’ve moved towards having a stronger espresso taste and less milk and typically order the piccolo. I’ve never had the food here but they do serve pasta lunch sets which include a coffee. If my rating were based on coffee alone I would give 5 stars. However, a lot of people come to coffee shops to hangout and read or talk with friends. This isn’t a place to do that. Also they are really lacking in pastry options which are typically really good at higher end coffee shops.
