Absolutely love this local gem of mine. Really good coffee. Not cheap but worth paying the price. Must try if youre around the area! More
It took a bit of walk and stairs climbing to get to Filters Lane from Sheung Wan, as Filters Lane is located on mid-levels. But it’s definitely worth the “workout” as the coffee and bakery item are so so good! I ordered a cup of Flat White, which had a nice balance of fruity-ness and nutty-ness. Very enjoyable! The Orange and Pop Seed Bread gave me a nice surprise! It’s dense and moist with a strong orange flavor, which made it a nice afternoon tea item! I also love the vibes of Filters Lane on a Friday afternoon, where you could bring your laptop to do some work, or bring a book to read while enjoying your coffee and food. Would like to visit again regardless of the stairs climbing! Like ShareMore
We recently stopped by Filter's Lane coffee shop on Caine Road in the Mid-Levels. Opening hours are 8am to 6pm daily. Liked the friendly staff and tidy, urban seating area at Filter's Lane. Coffee and cake ordered on the days were just ok. Espresso is Ethiopian origin, medium boldness, leaning towards the citrusy, bitter end of the spectrum. Flat White was decent but not great. Supposedly served as a double shot, it was still rather milky with only light hints of the espresso. Carrot cake slice ordered was quite dry with subtle flavours. Not bad but would have preferred a more moist and soft serving. Overall, not sure how we feel about Filter's Lane. It looks like a promising place but the coffee drinks and food were just ok during our visit, not sure if we'd return for another round here or not in the future.More
Stopped in for a coffee. The Pan Au Chocolate and Croissant are as if you are sitting in a cafe in Paris! Friendly staff and awesome coffee!More
This coffee roasting shop has good quality coffee and a pretty quiet environment making the place a great place to sit and work or read. Mostly serving the neighbours of Mid-levels. More
