I booked a place for 3 pax from Eatigo with 30% discount to be told that the discount doesn't include the mains! Decided to start off with the salted egg croissant with raclette cheese (additional $5). Can't taste the flavour of the cheese! I ordered the steak and got a shock when it came. $23.90 for a super small portion. Again, have to pay additional to add the cheese. Chicken cutlet tasted like instant katsu from the supermarket. Desserts of creme brulee and brownies okay. For a shop that's located under the void deck to charge the way they do, not coming back! Not recommending to anyone either.Read more
Heard about this place since 2016, but I've never made my way down because the indian shop next to it serves awesome crispy prata 😂 Finally bit the bullet and headed for this instead. Ordered the Salted Egg Yolk Dirty Benny and Milo Coated Chicken Pops. Despite the great fanfare, I personally felt the milo chicken were overrated. It was fried to perfection, but the milo powder didn't add much complimentary flavour to the whole dish. The Salted Egg Yolk Dirty Benny was alright. The eggs were very well cooked, oozing out when I slid the yolk in halves. I felt the chicken ham didn't go well with the Salted Egg Yolk sauce. However, the sauce was very well prepared, mildly sweet drizzled with heaps of ceral. Read more
This place is near my house. Tried their salted egg crossant. It is served warm and crispy. Will be coming back to try their salmon and steak. It is quite crided during lunch time and not many tables. To avoid the crowd, it is better to come around 11amRead more
The place is tucked away in a residential neighbourhood. Food portions aren’t generous. To add on, gst isn’t included on the prices that you see.complete rip off for the prices that you pay for given that this cafe is in a residential area. You are better off else where .Read more
I came with a friend because of the 1 for 1 Entertainer Promo and found the pictures featured on Instagram tagged under this location to look promising! However upon arrival, we felt that the restaurant had a certain foul smell, perhaps due to poor ventilation (and when we came out after I felt like I smelled oily too!). I ordered the smoked salmon aglio olio while my friend had the eggs benny. First of all, it was NOT smoked salmon. It was greatly overcooked salmon that was so tough and dry!! If it didn’t make it any worse, the pasta itself was so dry and bland I had to add a lot more salt, tobasco and chilli flakes. My friend’s egg benny tasted weird because of the hollandaise sauce which was sourish and everything together lacked flavour as well. At least the iced latte I had was still not bad. Service also was non existent. Despite being the only customers around - when we came in, the staff only looked at us. Nobody bothered to seat us or pass us the menus. Don’t think I will return again.Read more
