I can highly recommend this tour! It was great to see the less discovered Dubai with a local! Farida was very knowledgeable and shared her unique experiences of growing up in Dubai and how important food is to culture. A definite highlight to our stay in Dubai! Thanks Frying Pan Adventures!!!

Farida, co-founder/owner of Frying Pan Adventures organized and led the wonderful Middle Eastern Food Pilgrimage for me and five other guests yesterday. The tour is curated with great care and creates a fantastic opportunity to sample delicious culinary treats from Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq. Beyond the food, though, Farida lovingly introduced us to the neighbourhood in which she and her family have resided for more than 40 years. (Hint: The food is a big reason why they wouldn't even consider moving away.) The tour is a delightful opportunity to step off the beaten path and experience Dubai in ways most visitors will not.

We had a great time with Dubai born-and-raised Noon showing us around in May 2023 on a food and spice tour. Thanks to Noon, we were on the hunt for delicious Karak Chai throughout Dubai! The directions they provide to the souq are detailed and accurate. If you have any questions, the Frying Pan Tour team are super responsive via WhatsApp. We can't wait to take another tour when we're back in Dubai.

My wife and I took a tour of old Dubai with Frying Pan Adventures and we had so much fun. Arva was a fantastic guide and curated a great sampling of food from the old Dubai and old Souk areas we explored. We loved learning about Dubai's history and about its diversity of cultures. I would highly recommend Frying Pan Adventures if you are thinking of taking a guided tour while visiting Dubai!

Farida is the best. It was wonderful to hear her tales, as well as context and background for the absolutely delicious food we sampled. If we pass through Dubai again, we will definitely do more food tours with Frying Pan Adventures. The experience was wonderful in its' entirety - not only in terms of the food and the tour experience but also in terms of ensuring we were comfortable and also thoughtful little tokens shared. I desperately want to share food photos as part of this review but have decided against it - I don't want to spoil the scrumptious surprises for others!
