HOLA! Mexico

Came here on a Tuesday dinner time, and crowd levels were low. Indoor dining was really hot, so we opted for the outdoor seating. Water is complimentary upon request. Service staff are smiley and are very efficient. The pricing of each item is relatively high, but the portion size is pretty good and quite filling. A small basket of salsa and nachos are given as a complimentary entree as well. 🥙 Chicken Enchiladas ($29) I really enjoyed the refried beans. Its thick, flavourful, and grainy. 2 Fried tortillas are stuffed with chicken and cheese, and slathered with the green tangy sauce, topped with a small scoop of guacamole and sour cream. A side of rice is also given. Halfway through I was already quite stuffed, but was so good I finished it. Slightly towards the heavy carb side. Would like it if more vegetables and chicken were given for this price. I rate: 4/5 🌟 🥙 Shrimp Chimichanga ($30) Never had deep fried burrito before but this was a really interesting mouthfeel of soft, mushy warm fillings and crunchy shrimps. There is also a side of rice for this. Slightly towards the heavy carb side. Would like it if more vegetables and shrimp were given for this price. I rate: 4/5 🌟

Back here for the 2nd time with the same clique. Tacos can’t go wrong here; I especially loved the fried fish tacos. The quesadillas and burritos and the usual Mexican fare made us return for more. We had a chocolate sauce chicken something, ordered by one of the more adventurous girls. It didn’t gel with any of us. I never liked a sweet and savory mix, and this dish confused my palate. But hey, food is subjective so maybe it’ll work for you!

Not many people come here on a weekday lunch, I suppose they should have an affordable lunch set to make it more enticing. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There’s also a plate of complimentary nachos with salsa given to us when we settled down. We tried the enchiladas and burrito. Both were tasty, including the olive rice served on the side. The filling was generous and for the enchiladas, it was a fried version of the burrito so it’s crispy and yummy. We did not get to try the drinks this time so hope to go back again soon.

Great little Mexican restaurant with both inside and covered outdoor seating. The food we ordered was delivered fast and efficiently. We had the Chicken Fajitas, which had a large portion of nicely seasoned chicken as well as grilled onions and peppers. All served in a sizzling hot cast iron griddle. You can simply stir or leave the cooked onions and peppers if you desire a more cooked item. We also ordered the Habenaro spiced chicken wings, which you can pick how hot you want them made. I ordered them at a 5 out of 10 by recommendation of the server. It was great advice, just hot enough to pit a nice burn to your lips. Had a pint of Guiness as well. Great personable service. Highly recommend this location. Prices are a little higher than others, but the food was worth it.

Nice outdoor seating and good service. Hearty portion of Mexican food too. Tacos were yummy and chimichanga was stuffed with lots of tender and tasty lamb, recommended!
