Had the pleasure of dining here a few times whilst on holiday. Food is excellent, fresh, flavourful, hot and well presented. Compliments to the Chefs. Served with a smile by the friendly staff who are attentive and knowledgeable. Willing to adjust the spice to your liking. Special mention to Bigil who was our server a couple of times. A very professional friendly young man who made our experience even more pleasurable. Highly recommend.

We went for dinner. The food is tasty, staff is a very attentive and careful. The atmosphere is a very calm place for dining.

We use to remember this restaurant as a good Asian restaurant but what a rude shock it was , food was terrible and the dish staff recommended was inedible the simple raw mango salad was ripen sweet junks with raisins and not a slice of chilies in it out many dishes we ordered spring rolls, bokchoi, cod was the dim sum as a passable dishes. The rest was beyond bad Beef rangdan , mapo tofu and pad Thai should not be given to any guests. It’s that bad

We have had a few meals here during our stay at the sofitel. The Hong loong restaurant is a delightful place to have a meal. The staff are very pleasant, especially Winnie, she's been really helpful, pleasant and friendly, she helped us with our orders and promptly served us our food and drinks. She made sure we were looked after and top up our drinks if they fell to half a glass. The food was delicious and served hot and fresh. Go to the restaurant you won't be disappointed.

Being in a 5* hotel like Sofitel Palm, this was one of the worst restaurants I've been to. First of all, as a walk in customer made us wait 15 mins for a table when they were half empty which didn't make sense. Second, there is no vibe at all in the restaurant. They have a huge open kitchen but wasn't in use. The restaurant was red and black with Chinese lanterns but the menu is a mix of Asian cuisines. Third, the food honestly I could have had 100 times better with a delivery restaurant in Dubai and for that price point it's completely not worth it. We had to send the prawn pad thai back cause it was just noodles tofu and 2 prawns which was ridiculous. I would never come back to the restaurant unless they make a huge change.
