Great value for money and highly recommended if you only have a short time in KL. The only downside is that these buses run every 30 minutes but there aren't any approximate times at the bus stops. It does mean that you can end up waiting at a hot bus stop for a while without any idea when the next bus is going to turn up. Read more
We jumped on the Garden Route bus at stop 15 (Little India) it cost about $20 (55ringgit) takes a bit of time to get through the city, the traffic is chaos. We thought we would see more "gardens" but you spent a bit of time driving through the city (which we weren't keen on) getting stuck in traffic. If you have a couple of hours to spare it is worth it.Read more
It was a beating day to visit Batu Caves beginning of October, convenient Hop On hop Off bus dropped and picked up to/from the place. Long colorful stairs good for exercise to keep you fit, take care of the monkeys around, sometimes they can catch you or even steal something. Definitely this place deserves a visit, mix of religious and natural landscape make a great combination.Read more
Kuala Lumpur is quite a big place and navigating it isn't easy as very busy with lots of traffic so if you have time take the bus (buses) and do the loops around. Day pass is about £11 pp and there are 2 loops which both take about 2 hours each. One bus is city based and takes in the Towers amongst other things, the other bus is more park and museum based so probably most useful to get you about. Read more
The red route is around the city streets and can get caught up in the traffic. Not a lot of history or culture to see. The green line has more of the history and culture and takes you a little further out from the main city The traffc can be manic in the city so you can spend quite a bit of time waiting for the bus to arriveRead more
