I have taken hop on hop off buses in major cities of the world, this is the worst by far. The buses are run down, dirty in many cases. I took the red and green line on november 16. They say the buses come every aprox. 20min. That is a lie, every time i had to wait for a bus it took between 45 and 60mins. One bus broke in the middle of the tour and we had to wait 1hr for the next ! In some buses the exit door did not work (safety issue) and they had people to exit from the front door. In summary, you are much better off by hiring a car (taxi or grab, the equivalent to uber) to go to the key places. May cost a bit more but will not waste your day waiting for buses in the heat.Read more
If I could give it a negative rating I would, it is a shocker. Let me explain why. My daughter and I purchased tickets for the day as the agent told us there were four buses on each route and we would wait up to 30 minutes - all good. We wanted to use the Garden (green) route so we hopped on a bus to the next stop where there was a crossover between routes, and we waited, and waited for more than 40 minutes. We asked the agent at this stop if we could get a refund due to the first agent not telling us the truth as it turns out there were anywhere between 2 and 4 buses depending on who you spoke to. The traffic is difficult in KL and we understood that. A refund was flatly refused with the agent pointing to small print on the back of the brochure - great - since we weren’t given the brochure until after we had purchased the tickets and no attention had been drawn to this clause. So I strongly recommend avoiding this business and instead use the free bus service which has four routes and also use the rapid transit trains which are as cheap as. This business totally spoiled our day in KL.Read more
Did the city route first. Hardly any commentary and if the guide said something it was really hard to understand because of the awful speakers. The garden route had a better and more vocal guide, but the first several stops at the garden route were a waste of time. Read more
Overall good experience. Weather was rainy so an umbrella is a must. Kl weather is quite unpredictable. The green route has better options.Read more
We bought a ticket but were very disappointed by the attitude of the guide, who was supposed to provide live commentary. Very scant words, more about stations coming up than history or any information related to sights we were passing. The driver alone could have done that. Also, they offered a discount to go up KL Tower, if we bought a ticket from them, but when went down to buy they said they had run out of them. She also told me that they weren't going to run the red route again that day and this was around 1.30pm on 14th October 2019. Her English was poor so there is a possibility that there was miscommunication but the attitude was awful.Read more
