House of Seafood

The servers (aunty probably in her 60s) are very friendly and hospitable. My favourite is their hotplate seafood tofu which got me craving for more, generous with their ingredients! Their chili crab sauce is in fact better than the better known restaurants. I sat inside on a round table with clean table cloths, the place is comfortable. Weekday night ambience is very good. I gave their pork ribs a try, very meaty and juicy, but the sauce is on the sour side just not really to my liking but the taste is really unique.

Great food! The seabass is very fresh and chili crab is just good combination of spicy/sweet/sour. We were not able to take pic before eating so attaching these instead.

VERY DISAPPOINTED and I think NEA or SFA should pay them a visit. Lots of flies. Not just any normal houseflies but the big and fat ones! The staff were kind enough to try to smack the houseflies but then again, can you imagine the flies' innards splattering onto your dish? On top of that, there were so many of them 'zooming' around till we felt like one might accidentally fly into our mouth. We were very put off by the whole dining experience and ended up packing the chili crab home. First time in my life dining in a restaurant that needed to have a 'spinner' on the table (to chase away the flies) in Singapore. We even had to bend the straws to prevent the flies from landing on it. The food, the chili crab, was also another disappointment. The sauce was too salty (too much MSG?) yet the taste did not penetrate into the meat. We had to dip the meat into the sauce as the meat was quite tasteless. The fresh oysters were good. The sambal asparagus was a little salty too. The lala had some sand/pebbles in as I had to spit them out quite a few times. Price wise, fair enough as I was informed of the dish's price before I placed the order. However, I still find it slightly overpriced based on the quality. I definitely will not visit again nor recommend it.

The food is just nice with suitable portion. The taste is really good and will definitely come back again.

Excellent food with excellent service… First time trying the chili crab and it was fantastic! Truly enjoy the dining experience here. Will definitely visit again!
