We stayed here in March 20 but unfortunately due to the current Coronavirus pandemic we had to cut our stay short! We stayed in room 600 which had good city views. Incredibly welcoming staff when you arrive both from helping you from your transport to the front of desk in the lobby. All staff are polite, friendly and smiley which is just great. As we stayed during the global covid19 pandemic the hotel had to change their policies to comply with tourism laws in the UAE, we were well notified of the changes via letter in the room and through the messaging service on the TV. Cannot fault a thing with this hotel, it was spotlessly clean with professional friendly staff. The location is really good for shopping etc. The food was very good, good variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would’ve loved to of had shisha in the Byblos sur Mer bar as the views were fantastic, maybe next time! Thank you again for making our stay welcoming & comfortable, wish we could’ve stayed longer!Read more
AUH Intercont is a perfect blend of location, view, staff courtesy, hospitality , relaxing vibes, cleanliness and delicious food. Over and above and most important is the sense of responsibility to the importance of your needs. I was delivering one of my training courses there and requested at the last minutes to change the set up of my training room from U shaped to round tables for 30 participants. A 60 minutes job done in just 20. The lady managing the banquet (A banquet manager) took her jacket to work with the staff. You don't see that frequently. My sincere appreciation.Read more
We have just returned from our weekend break. This hotel is fabulous with its own private beach and 2 pools . 1 in the Bayshore and 1 on the 3 floor in the hotel . The rooms were really nice with very attentive housekeeping. Nothing was too much trouble . The hotel staff are very helpful and polite and the hotel itself was spotlessly clean which is very reassuring at the moment . We ate in the Belgian Bar and the Circo which were both amazing We are planning to return soon to visit the other restaurants . The breakfast was also delicious and everything was cooked fresh for us. Highly recommend this hotelRead more
We arrived early morning on 10 March and our room was ready for us which was excellent. The room was good and had everything we needed. The beach area was lovely and we enjoyed lunches at the Bayshore restaurant. The Selections restaurant was of a very high quality with lots of choices. The staff there were lovely and very friendly, especially Jayme and Akshsay, aka Mr Drizzle! We enjoyed Byblos Sur Met restaurant. It was interesting to try Leabonese food. The restaurant manager Kamal, was very attentive and informative. For us the best restaurant was Circo, the Italian. The food was exceptional and we were served by Errol who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We were disappointed we could not go out to see the sights because of the Coronavirus but were very well looked after at the hotel. Thank you to you all and stay safe. Read more
My wife and I spent a lovely night away at this hotel. We had been a few times before and really enjoyed the experience so we decided to return and get a little break from all the doom and gloom that's around at the moment. From the moment we arrived we were received a warm welcome. We booked a club room and were upgraded to a suite which was really plush. Early check in was no problem and as the pool/beach was closed due to Government restrictions we headed to the club lounge for the complimentary afternoon tea which was really nice and relaxing with lovely sandwiches and cakes. We then enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the marina followed by a happy hour drink in the sun at the Belgian beer cafe. The evening was spent firstly back in the club lounge for the evening drinks and snacks. The service was outstanding and a special mention to Vince and Ryan who made it a memorable evening. They really made us feel welcome and looked after our every need. Then back to the Belgian beer cafe for a night cap. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning before checking out where we were greeted by more warm smiles. We will be back.Read more
