I celebrated my birthday lunch here with friends. I ordered a medium rare steak with black pepper sauce. The steak came medium rare but it was very tough and I had difficulty cutting into it with a steak knife. It was also very difficult to chew. The black pepper sauce was very dilute and not very peppery which is a disappointment. Ambience was nice and cosy although the wooden seats were rather uncomfortable. Service was excellent.Read more
It’s my 4th visit already to this restaurant. I was very disappointed with the squid ink risottos that I had today. It used to be very rich in flavor and was also my favorite dish. However today when it came I already felt something was amiss when I saw that the gravy was a bit watery. The Baramudi fish that we had was also so so only. Read more
We have been coming here for years. The food is consistently good, and the service also (though maybe because we are regulars it might make a difference). We normally have pasta or pizza, and these are consistently good. The Pizzas are thin and crisp and tasty. Pizza Romano is great if you like anchovies (if not avoid!). The Pasta dishes are good too. Spaghetti Risata is a big seafood tomato based dish and worth trying. Also the Zuppa de Pesce, which is kind of like the Spaghetti Risata without the spaghetti and more seafood! Salads too are good - rocket and pumpkin is one of our favourites. And their chicken liver pate is a nice starter. If you haven't been, give it a try. Weekends are busy and booking will probably be necessary to avoid waiting.Read more
Well known for their decent array of authentic Italian dishes ranging from traditional wood fired oven pizzas, pastas, meat, and seafood. Highly recommend their Zuppa Di Pesce for seafood lovers. It comes with huge serving of prawn, squid, mussel, clam and fish in a rich tomato sauce with garlic, chili and parsley.Read more
