Malaysia Laksa noodles shop located in a unfounded corner ar Sheung wan. Unbelievably the food are delicious however the price is high. The quality and the presentation are as good as the quality at high end shopping mall e.g. Ifc. The shop owners are a couple of interior designers. The decoration shows the professional experience of them.

Knowing this restaurant from report on Laksa noodle in HK and tried to visit it at weekends but it closed. So this time, visited this restaurant in a weekday afternoon. I ordered Laksa noodle(HKD108) with white coffee (+HKD15). Probably the most expensive Laksa I had in Hong Kong and more expensive than Japanese Lamen. Laksa Look (色) => 5/5 can see the packaging Smell (香) => 4/5 Taste (味) => 3/5 perhaps it is not my cup of tea. The 馬拉盞sauce was weird (fishy) and the Samba spicy sauce (taste like spicy tomato sauce) does not match with Laksa. The coffee was average. Service was great. The waitress asked me if it was my first visit and explained to me what sauces was put on the Laksa. It also provides napkin with a chain such that I can hang the napkin in front of my chest to prevent the soup spill over to my shirt. Hotel service and hotel price.

tiny hidden joint with perfect service. there are many types of laksa in this world so i’m not gonna judge. $128 for a bowl of (curry?) laksa - mixed egg & rice noodles, rich soup (too thick for my taste), half an egg, sauces, lime, a prawn full of roe, fish balls & slices, and veggies. $10 for a sweet milk tea (a tad too sweet for my taste). NO service charge. i may revisit to try the noodles with another type of soup just because the friendly staff :)

Unbelievably bad. I ordered the Hainanese chicken rice. The rice was tasteless (as opposed to the usual one with the scent of lemongrass/chicken oil) and the chicken wasn’t fresh. Worse, the dish (inc the chicken) was cold. Trash food.

Great spot for a group of 2 or 3 since they have counter-style seating. We had the laksa, which is one of the best I had in Hong Kong. Two of us also shared a Gado Gado (peanut sauce) salad and it made it quite difficult to finish our laksa since portions were so big. Wide variety of topics so you get some unique flavors. Good deal for brunch on Saturdays for all you can drink/all you can eat appetizers and 1 noodle for $288!
