It was a great trip, the rooms was very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. In addition the breakfast was very delicious. It is amazing place to take a rest with your family or friends.More
The Millennium Resort Mussannah has been one of our favourite places just because it offers so much in terms of relaxation and activities that it truly becomes a cherished staycation. That being said our trip this time around did not quite live up to the hype. Hotels around Muscat have opened up with government induced restrictions in place and the Millennium Resort is no different. On arrival there is a temperature scanning machine at the entrance, unfortunately nobody was there manning it and we seen a lot of guests just walk past it without being screened. There is a desk on the side which said Sanitize Luggage here, again nobody to help on the same and nothing was sanitized. Check-in to the rooms was quick as usual and we were kindly escorted with our bags to our room which was pre-sanitized as per the notice on the door. The rooms are nice and airy with a beautiful view of the ocean. The dinner service was efficient but probably just above average compared to our previous visits. The one thing that really put us off in the dining room was the careless attitude of in-house guests who casually strolled around without masks and more so even allowing little kids to run in the service area and touching food with their hands and messing it up. It would be better in the current scenario to restrict kids at the serving tables ,just restrict it to adults and maintain decorum in terms of wearing masks and maintaining a reasonable distance instead of crowding the place. The room inhouse amenities left us disappointed as the television was not working for the entire 2 nights due to some unknown reason and the bar fridge not cooling enough to even chill a regular bottle of water. The pools were probably the saving grace during our stay, clean with a lifeguard around. The Aquafun service is available for a charge if one so wishes. It's important that we support the hotels in getting back to normalcy after the catastrophic 5month break, however its everyone's responsibility to ensure the safety of your family as well as those around you. For this reason alone Millenium Resort needs to step it up to ensure that their guests have the best possible experience especially in these trying times. I am sure with the team they have on board they can do a lot more...More
We were given the rooms to check in at 5pm instead of 2pm and were not even compensated for a late check-out. Swimming pool have external super dirty bathrooms (public bathroom are cleaner!) and no internal shower area. Staff at the front desk were rude and do not smile. Deffinitely a huge drop. We used to be regular comers to this place and this is the last time i will goMore
i reserved a studio as it was same price of sea view delux room they gave me first one without balacony as it was described, the tv was not working and when i asked they answered its a problem in whole rooms then it had electricity problem and lights were off while we were sleeping so after discussions they changed to ither studio where the balacony is useless as the fense was just like a small wall u can’t see through it like a prison the sheets were cut the breakfast was very limited with it’s price there’s better optionsMore
Beautifully maintained hotel, grounds and beach! Very well adjusted to new safety conventions. Lovely outdoor cafe with “The Lemon Sharbet”, a fabulously refreshing drink with lemon, mint and saffron! Lovely vibe around the pool. But it has the greatest water feature ever! A veritable all over body massage. Committed and friendly staff A super getaway.More
