Had two back and shoulder massages. Professional service and just the job to ease the aches and pains. Highly recommendedRead more
Hubby and I did a couples massage, which was peaceful, relaxing and delightful in a beautiful setting with extremely excellent therapists.Read more
The spa itself has a relaxing ambiance and is spotlessly clean. We had a full body hot stone massage, a facial and hand and foot massage. The staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel very comfortable. They cannot do enough to make the experience one you will want to have again. Prices are reasonable for treatments considering the surroundings and standard of care. Will definitely visit again.Read more
As guests at the hotel we were able to make use of the spa, pool and sauna area within this beautiful space. As you walked down the corridor the amazing scents from the oil burners filled the air and with the relaxing music playing on low and the dark corridor it offered an almost magical feeling. The staff were always on hand if any help was needed and it was just a lovely place to retreat for some real relaxation We didn't have any treatments as we wanted to relax in the spa and pool and did just that Read more
My sister in law and I were planning a UK Spa weekend before her son’s wedding, but opted for a spa hotel in Malta instead. This Spa was in our hotel and on arrival we went to book a massage each. There were some seasonal deals, so we opted for one of them, which said it included a Deep Tissue Massage and Head Massage, plus Prosecco and Chocolates. According to their brochure a Deep Tissue Massage focuses on the back, neck and shoulders. To cut a long story short there were a number of issues:- When we arrived for our massages, one of the therapists was male (he was very very good at his job, but as two middle aged ladies we felt we should have been told in advance that one of the therapists was male). We had actually been booked in for a “Couples Massage” - both in the same room! I love my sister in law very much but we are not accustomed to seeing each other semi-naked! Again, we should have been advised of this at the time of booking. Our Massage turned out to be full body - neither of us wanted that - but in true English style we just presumed we’d got it wrong and were too polite to say. The head massage was a non-event - no oils were used and it lasted no more than 5 minutes. We didn’t get any chocolates! The pool area was stiflingly hot, very dark and full of children. After our treatments, the assistant manager, Maja, asked if we had enjoyed our treatments. This is important - we only told her of our disappointment because she asked. We both said they had been very good, but they weren’t what we expected - we had expected back, neck and shoulder as per the brochure. She was a bit disinterested, and said we should have said that was what we wanted, but we did! We both filled in a form at the start that said we wanted them to focus on back, neck and shoulders. What more could we do? Maja went off to look after other clients and we trudged to our room feeling like we’d been taken for a ride. If you ask if everything was ok you should be prepared for the answer. I returned later to say we really weren’t happy. To be fair to Maja, she did offer us another treatment the following day, however we had an early flight so this was not possible. Also, we did get a massage, and it was very good, so we wanted to be fair. We therefore suggested that if she gave us a €10 discount we would feel we had paid a fair price. She agreed to this and we were happy with that compromise - however, we still didn’t get any chocolates! 😂Read more
