I was attending the SA Investment Conference at the Sandton Convention Centre and needed a light meal around 16:00. I saw Parc Ferme restaurant across the road and headed there. Service was slow even though restaurant was relatively empty. When my meal (Cajun chicken alfredo with mushrooms) finally arrived it was so salty! I just couldn't eat it. I complained to the server, paid my bill and left hungry! I wish I had gone to another restaurant More
Terrible service, only 3 tables occupied and we waited over 1 hour to get a messed up order. Waiters don’t bother to check on you. We had to request several times to get cutlery, chillies, bread. This restaurant does not do justice to be the main resto in Michelangelo Towers.More
Only 3 tables were occupied but it took more than an hour for us to get our order. And the staff just didn’t seem excited to be working. It took 10mins for a waiter to even talk to us when we got in and sat ourselves. Expected so much more for a restaurant in the Michael Angelo strip 🤷🏽‍♀️More
I took my wife for Saturday lunch. The floor and tables were full other litter, old papers, sticky stuff, generally filthy. Offensive music was blaring, the staff were shouting at each other. I had burned pork belly for lunch - when I complained the waiter laughed at me, telling me that it was funny. We had three waiters, they seemed to be changing shifts. In an 'upmarket' restaurant, I don't expect a food order to be given to the wrong person. We ordered mineral water, the bottle claimed that it was mineral water made by reverse osmosis - this is a contradiction in terms, and constitutes fraud. My Crème Brule was runny, but the flavor was good. The wait for the dessert was one hour - way too long. it was served with a dirty soup spoon. When asking for a dessert spoon, I was told that they only had one, and my wife was using it. When I complained about my meal which I did not finish, the staff explained to me that they were in agreement with me, that they had complained to the owners too, but that nothing was being done. I paid as requested.More
I had a terrible experience at Parc ferme. Firstly I ordered a queen and king prawn dish but was served with prince prawns; the chips were undercooked such that I had to return them. We also had a rack of lamb that we waited 45min for, however it was very far from worth the wait; it was tasteless, full of fat and the presentation was far from appealing, the mash potato was lumpy and not restaurant quality. Very disappointed with the Chef and the restaurant. The decor is ok but the food is a let down.More
