Friday afternoon and craving some chicken biryani ordered from Peppermill. Pani Puri - 8 pieces, mint chutney and tamarind sauce. Chicken biryani - I loved the aroma coming from the biryani as soon as I opened the box. Served with a pot of think white yogurt and tangy lemon pickles. Gulab Jamun - this was served with Rabdi in an individual pot. Lemon and Mint Juice - lovely and refreshing. Food was absolutely delicious. More

I used to go bawabaat mall in the winter and first time a lot for comfort Indian food in peppermill. Their prices are very reasonable and their portions are very generous.I would recommend their Aloo Tikki and crispy spinach for starters, both are so delicious. I've had a variety of Murgh korma with naans from here. All of those are pretty nice but i really like the mutton biryani here. it was well cooked and its very soft meat. their prawn shorba is something i had when my throat wasn't feeling the best so wanted something warm and a little spicy & it was very flavorful & comforting. The staffs are very attentive & cheerful. This is a place really recommended.More

It was our first time to go to Bawabat Al Sharq Mall in Abu Dhabi last Friday. We used to pass by their signage along the main road but we never really had the chance before to go. This time we made it possible and had our lunch in Peppermill restaurant. You’ll agree with me that this restaurant is one of the social media contents nowadays especially because they have an upcoming branch in Dubai Festival City. At Peppermill, what makes them different from others is that they bring back to life the flavoursome of food way back from the Indian history. We know very well India is known to it’s colorful spices and fragrance of them. Now the secret is for someone to have an expertise on how to combine or mix match all these golden ingredients on each and every dishes. Because that’s the way it will come out heavenly to whom it will be served. Chefs at Peppermill spent months on studying these matter. Choosing the best spices and the right ingredients to come out with a perfect recipe. And so we were honored to have a chance to meet their Brand Chef, Chef Dilip on that day. They have a very elegant interior design and spacious dining area. They got outdoor dining also which will fit this coming winter. For people who love a little privacy they do have this option for them as well. There are some tables set-up on the side of the restaurant too. During our visit, we were welcomed and attended by Mr. Jipin, the Manager and one of their staffs, Shankar. We didn’t have to make a decision on which was the best one to have because they have thought of it for us already. I really liked this kind of visit. It doesn’t eat too much time just for decision-making. We started with an Appetiser called Coin papad with coriander and mango chutney. Crispy and nice. Our son loved munching them too. For drinks we had their bestselling mocktails like the Orange Mojito and Pomegranate Blush. For Soup & Salads we had the Corn Shorba (it’s a combination of sweet corn and coriander soup with garlic) and Mulligatawny Soup (it’s the indian national soup, made of yellow lentil, chicken and coconut milk). We also had the Peppermill Chicken Ceasar Salad on this part. There’s the fresh crunchy lettuce, pine nuts, shaves of parmesan cheese, croutons, ceasar dressing and topped with slices of grilled chicken. For Starters, they didn’t let us to miss the Aloo Tikki also. Beautiful presentation on vibrant colors because of the tamarind chutney, chilli paste and yoghurt topped on the fried potato cake with spicy garam filling. The Peppermill Kebab Selection is way too delicious! This platter consists of Murgh Malai Chicken Tikka, Lahsuni Murgh Chicken Tikka, Mutton Seekh Kebab and Tandoori Malai Prawns. Served to us still smoking and sizzling. This is superb with so tender and juicy meat. We had several dishes for the main course! This really stunned us a lot. Here it goes: Pasliyon ka Salan – tandoor smoked lamb chops, spiced lamb curry sauce with mashed potato “chokha”. (Even the mashed potato is superb!) Chicken Chettinad – It’s a South Indian style boneless chicken curry with blended spices and coconut served with roti. Broccoli & Zucchini Mussallam – combination of stuffed zucchini and broccoli with mussallam korma sauce. (Very creamy!) Murgh Biryani – it has fresh herbs, cardamon, chicken, mace and saffron cooked in dum and served with raita. (Full flavour and the aroma was racing to come out after removing the cover) And we finally reached the dessert part. We had a beautiful sharing of Shahi Tukda. Kulfi ice cream sandwiched on carmelized brioche served with pistachio bread and cinnamon powder. (Do you know kulfi is my favourite ? 😊) Everything was great! I tell you, this is a perfect dining place if you want to brag about indian cuisine. It’s a sure ball and you won’t regret it. It’s absolutely tasty and full of flavour on every dishes you select. During our visit, even arabs are fond of their sumptuous and delectable dishes. Flavour is skyrocketing! Check them out on Facebook , Twitter and Instagram. More
