Food was good, restaurant ambience was good, service was slightly slow when more people came but I think it was okRead more
It’s not a mezze restaurant anymore. It used to be really good, now their tzatziki tastes like raita if you see what I mean.Read more
Ordered the lamb shawarma and chicken shish taouk. Shawarma was loaded with ingredients and the chicken dish was juicy and delicious.Read more
The Lebanese food is uniquely presented here but I think the cook may not from the middles eastern. The authenticity of the food may still far the standard of what we have eaten when we were in Israel and Jordan. Ordered the hummus , pita bread, grilled beef kebab with saffron rice, chicken sharwarma probably the best and come with 4 portions! Fry cheese spring roll is quite unique and order a stew lamb as we ordered a big bowl of olive rice. The stew lamb is tasteless but just sour with tomato .. added salt ourself to enhance it. Service is average, decor is simple but the drinks menu is way too much.. a bottle of mineral water is $5! Juice is $6.50! It is unreasonable charges for the drink. The price here is expensive and be careful why you ordered and portion served can be small! Read more
Budget-wise I think this restaurant fits the upper mid-range bracket. Me and my wife went in for dinner on a not-at-all busy Wednesday. The bill totaled over 110 SG$ for 2 after service charge and tax which, frankly, is way too much for the quality you get. We got a manakeesh to start along with hummus and followed it up with the shawarma and mixed grill. The food is not bad but they skimp on important things: manakeesh with store-bought pizza bases (despite there being freshly-baked bread) and mozzarella instead of the traditional cheese; uninspired grilled meats that were a bit bland (especially the beef) and canned chickpeas in the hummus. What really put a final nail in the coffin of our experience was that we were not allowed to use an "Entertainer" voucher, despite there being no clear indication, either on the app or on the menu and of the waiter not alerting us in advance. Apparently there is an undisclosed technicality with the "Mixed Grill" not being an applicable main for discount - doesn't make a lot of sense, especially when the customer asks for a cheaper 2nd main course. Overall the relatively bland food, poor choice of ingredients and mediocre service were a let down that will keep us from returning any time soon. If you are looking for a real middle-eastern food experience this is not the place.Read more
