Stunning views and delicious food. There's an art gallery with interesting local art inside. The highlight was definitely the friendly and highly efficient staff. So kind and welcoming. Made me feel taken care of and it was such a great atmosphere. Wish I could remember the names of the ladies who served me. They deserve so much praise! Highly highly recommend.

My experience at Glen Carlou truly was exquisite. I arrived early for my reservation but was met by the friendliest staff one could hope for. Before, throughout and after the meal the staff were attentive, friendly, engaging and just a joy to be around. The food, while on the pricier side, is worth every cent. Despite the portions seeming too small when the food was brought out, no member of our party left hungry or unsatisfied. The attention to the flavour, presentation and portion size is exactly what one would hope for. Overall I had a fantastic experience and will definitely be finding an excuse to return.

Delicious lunch at the restaurant today, seated outside with impressive sweeping views across to Paarl Rock. Fast and friendly service, and very good wines. Even though the restaurant was quite full, it was a peaceful and quiet setting. Nice playground near the restaurant entrance for kids.

AMAZING views. Probably the best in Paarl... Wait, this was Paarl right ? Haha. The wine tasting experience was incredible. Very tasty wines. The service was just too good. Dynah, our server was just excellent. Made us feel welcome and relaxed. What an incredible experience all together. We ended up being the last ones there past closing time, and they Politely reminded us they were closing. No chasing home nonsense which was appreciated.... We finished our wine, took the last breath of fresh air and view and left happy.

I'd give 10 stars if I could! Stunning view, lovely staff, comfortable seating, food beautifully cooked and presented. Fabulous! 💓
