Must have to sit outside for a dinner, with the seaview and all the lights outside. Very nice staff working here, the selection of steaks is very impressive, also including Wagyu meat for example. More
The Safi restaurant is such a totally enjoyable restaurant to enjoy a great dinner while staying or visiting the Ajman Saray Resort. Chef Henry was extremely helpful and extremely professional in his foods presentation and scrumptious taste. The Safi is only open for dinner and you have the choice of indoor seating or a nice outdoor terrace seating. The first night we enjoyed an indoor table and the following night we enjoyed a great table outside. Their menu is very comprehensive and is dominated by a wide selection of meat entrees and several very nice seafood items. Their appetizers were all very, very delicious and all had a great presentation. What I especially enjoyed was the selection of ‘side dishes’ with each steak or seafood dish. They also had a nice yet small appetizer salad bar in which they had cheeses; olives; pickles and many other appetizers to sample. A very nice touch… The service was extremely professional and Chef Henry was available to answer any question we may have had each night. So if you are looking in having a delicious dinner while you are in the UAE you must try the Safi restaurant…you will not be disappointed…Trust me…More

One Saturday afternoon decided to venture to the Ajman Saray Hotel to try out an all-day Saturday Brunch. I called up the hotel but was given very little detail about the brunch apart from timing (Saturday 1230 until 2230!). I decided to give it a go based on restaurant reviews alone. Arrived at the hotel around 3pm, valet parking available at the front of the hotel entrance. The restaurant is tucked into the back of the hotel with large patio doors facing the swimming pool and beach in the background. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I was a little confused upon arriving at the restaurant as no food buffet areas were set out so I enquired that we were at the right restaurant indeed we were. A waitress then seated us at the almost empty restaurant. At this point I would usually think twice and leave but I wanted to understand their offering. Brunch is a full table service, so no open buffets to choose from. Actually I’ve tried a few brunches in this style and it is much more personal and food quality generally better. We were offered a brunch menu which explained the offering, a selection of soups are offered, followed by a hot starter and then cold starters. This is followed by the main course and finally deserts. There are different price options offered, we chose the option inclusive of soft drinks which was a very reasonable 135 aed per person. Now being a brunch it goes without saying that you can request additional portions if you wish, however the sheer amount of food served meant we never had to ask for more and definately needed breaks between the courses. The menu is pretty much set, french onion or asparagus soup or both. Steak bites served with onion rings, coleslaw and a pepper salad. Main course consisted of grilled chicken in a bbq sauce, flank steak with pepper sauce, a burger slider, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. Deserts were a selection of cakes and fresh fruit. The standard of food was above average although the steak bites were the stand out dish. The flank steak was great in flavour but a little chewy in texture. The chicken was ok, the burger slider was also a very good dish. The deserts need a rethink, I believe they had been sitting in the fridge way too long and did not feel freshly made. In summary, table service and wait staff were very good. Drinks were constantly refilled. The staff are discreet but always on hand if you needed them. Would definitely visit again, I would suggest they need to better advertise the offering. More
We went twice as the buffet is not up to much and it was lovely but we were only one of three couples, not much ambience so could do with background music or something.More
