I was staying here last weekend and got bad experience. My review and complaint has been well responded by the management of sofitel and they ask for a chance to show corrective action taken so I accept the offer of second stay today. I write this review fair and square. Yes they did done many things better now. You got offer to have a buggy ride from and to the parking area (albeit I choose to walk do to the long waiting). They surely under staff but must realize that they struggle during this covid pandemic. Even though I got complimentary night to stay 1 night at their suite, I also pay and open 1 equal room to my last stay just as comparison. I have a guest staying at the pool access room while I’m staying at the suite complimented. Yes, the suite is nice, spacious and clean. Hence lack of maintenance which understandable during this covid pandemic. Mini bar now loaded, the guest management did great thing knowing their guest. The pool is much better now, clean and nice. Hence, the access pool is not as clean as the main pool and we can see their staff is struggling to clean it everyday. We have lunch at Toya their beach club, accompanied by couple chipmunk on the tree. The service is nice albeit they did not provide discount as I’m entitled to as Accor platinum member. Hence I complained and got complimentary lunch at cucina the following day. The large bathtub is nice, but the shower keep dripping and made the floor wet. Than followed by air conditioning got condensed and start dripping as well. What to expect more, they responded to the complaint promptly and try to fix them right away. I can’t say it is a perfect resort, but we have a good time while staying there. And my guest who staying at the pool access also feel the same. Exit is smooth, we got late check out until 5pm albeit we did leave at 4pm. If you wish to stay here, I would say expect not more than a sofitel during pandemic. They try to do their best albeit it’s not perfect.More
Waiting our room more than 5 hours! Your management totally sucks! Even after 5 hours, i have to wait 20 more minutes! Shame on you Mr. Dodi (the manager)! You ruin my mood all day! Sucks! Dumbest management ever!More
I choose Sofitel Nusa dua as one of several place to spend our honeymoon because they say this place is the most wanted. But sorry to say, I would never comes back to this place, why? Here is the reasons: 1. Before i book this resort, im asking what activity that the provide to us, there is yoga, archery, bicycles, booth camp and others. Looks fun right? But When I checked in, i would like to join the yoga class. The receptionist told me that they change the schedules from 7 am to 10 am, can you imagine doin yoga after having a breakfast??? but in the end they canceled it though, The reason was covid (the previous resort NEVER gaves this kind reason, they gave me their best, never cancelled anything because of covid, the schedule always goin on With saftey protocols of course). LOL 2. They always want us to accept the conditions that they can provide the best because of pandemic. Only this hotel proudly say this. Shame. 3. The room has many mosquitoes, im shocked waking up with a lot of redness. (Im pretty sure close the balcony door of course) 4. They gave us expired aminities (hand soap). 5. The beach club was closed, because of pandemic *again. 6. The spa was nice, during the pandemic, they change the spa near the beaches, you can feel the wind and sound of waves during the spa. It was really a brilliant ideas actually! But there is a lot of people that sells things too, so you have to hear them chit an chat loudly too. 🤣 Honestly lost interest since they’re really not professional, if you’re not ready to give your best hospitality, you better prepare before you open your hotel to customer that pay you.More
Stayed here 2 nights last weekend with family, free room upgrade with plunge pool, my kid love it. It was quick chek in and out, great hospitality from the staff and nice breakfast too. One thing to note, we dont actually get the feeling of sofitel, the room is bit smell old most probably because never been use for quite sometimes. Other than that we are okay. Hangin there sofitel! My 3rd time staying in Sofitel. I always had a great time staying here on my previous trips. Visited the hotel again on 2nd April 2021. Firstly, No more buggy at the parking lot to take you to the lobby. They are so understaffed. They only have a lot of people walking around at the lobby to greet us but serve no useful purpose. Took us forever to check in, and there is no more aircon in the checkin lounge. I understand that we are still in the covid pandemic and if you want to turn off the AC, the whole check in process should be done quicker. Got one of the rooms on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool. The music playing over the restaurant was so loud on repeat and it wouldn’t stop. Called the front desk to see if they could stop it at around midnight and they stopped it. Woke up at 6am and the music is still playing again. Thank you for ruining “Stand by me” forever to me. Seriously you only have 50% occupancy but you can’t give us a room where i don’t feel like gouging my eyes out listening to the loud music. Pool lounge was crowded i guess the promo pricing works. Unfortunately, pool lounge was also understaff. Took forever for the staff to clean up the daybeds. When i finally got one of their attentions, they only cleared the drinks previously left by other guests and promised to come back and disinfect only to not hear back from the staff. He basically did not come back. Had to grab our own towels and disinfect the daybeds ourselves. Ordered drinks from the pool bar, and the staff did not want to serve us drinks, he said that they close at 5pm and it was 5:10pm. After much discussion with his supervisor he told us that they had changed their closing time to 7pm. Seriously, you should know all these before you get to your station. Won’t be coming back till you bring back your standard.More
