Dreaming place, amaizing staff, nice rooms Just the island is not far on the airport and on the landing line ..sometimes very noisy Package inscluding doesn’t include any extra and any restaurant you chose you will pay full price With no compensation . The extra costs us 70% of he price of the stay Breakfast is very poor except that the menu offers 30 ways to serve you an egg Food is not enough international More
I have done a lot of travelling over my life, visited a lot of countries and stayed in a lot of hotels. In my opinion the Taj Exotica in the Maldives is simply the best there is. The location itself is paradise, white sand, crystal clear water, bright sunny skies, tropical plants, shallow seas, everything you think of as a ‘tropical paradise’. On top of that the Taj group built the most amazing and opulent hotel imaginable, private suites on stilts over a crystal clear lagoon teaming with beautiful fish. Then as if that was not enough, the staffed it with the friendliest, most attentive and helpful staff I have ever encountered. Take Ahmed at the poolside bar, as soon as he saw me and my family walking up, he would pull out sun beds for us, lay out fresh towels, put tables out for our drinks before we even stepped up. This place truly is paradise and everyone should try it at least once in their lives.More
Visited the property early March. It was a lovely experience. Though there was scare of tge pandemic but Shaufa helped us be at ease and comfort assuring us our health and safety was as vital for the hotel as us and we were in safe hands. The food at all three restaurant that we dined was amazing, just felt pool side food ( few dishes) could improve like prawns had more of greens. The staff were extremely helpful and it was a pleasure to see chefs come out and talk to us. Big shout out to Dhombe, Raj, Kanan, Bharti, Shaufa. Thank you all. More
An excellent traditional, comfortable and welcoming hotel. This hotel is showing signs of Tajness returrning to it's very best, after a few years of change that was not in our opinion a welcome one!.Shabby chic luxury, subtle, quality service provided by a team of well organised and unobtrusive staff. This is not your modern resort that now seems to be the norm in Maldives, but a resort that is truly heading back to the luxury class of hotel that is always used to be.There are no plastic chairs or sunbeds here-only comfortable traditional indian/maldivian style furniture. If you are looking for a quiet, well run resort this is the place for you,no loud music or discos, just occassional evenings with back ground music from local bands or duos.Perhaps more suited to the more discerning guests or group we have never found fault here. With thanks as always to the wonderful team of staff and management, who look after us so well.We will see you soon. It was just amazing how the team come together and make your stay splendid. I visited the resort in the first week. The property seemed to be hosting a group as well but our butler Shaufa ensured we had our own space and made this trip most memorable. Food was the highlight; special thanks to chef Kannan and Raj. Will surely recommend the property to allMore
