Visited the museum a couple of days after reopening due to lock down. Have walked passed a thousand times. So glad we eventually went in! Very informative and brilliantly presented as well as great fun. We live locally and would erge every one who does to pay it a visit and take the kids.More
Just not my thing, didn't bother looking everything, walked through most of it. It's cheap, but, even then it's not worth itMore
We have been to London a few times and obviously as British people weve all heard of The Clink, but we werent aware of this museum until we really did some digging down into tourist attractions in London. It wasnt included in any of the tourist passes but it was only £8 per adult. I believe its £6 per child or for concessions, and they were on the 2for1 train pass you can get if you get the train down to London. We thought it was a really fun, enjoyable thing to do. They had a lot of wax models showing people being tortured and in the cells etc with some noises, some gruesome stories and some of the torture apparatus there for you to touch and look at. We found it really interesting, and it took us about an hour to get around the whole thing . At the end you get to do a free photo and download it later. It was really awesome, something id definitely recommend if you are interested in London history at all. Its an old classic, nothing 4D and no jump scares or anything like that - but really great all of the same! And really good value too! Dont miss it!More
The children had a lot of fun but also learned something - you can stay as long as you like and take in as much as information as you want. There's a lot in there and I was impressed that the girls had learned so much when we did the quiz at the end. The member of staff there was really helpful and friendly and it was nice to get a free family photo at the end.More
I visited on a 'mum and daughter' weekend with my 8 year old. We had a brilliant time. The lady on the reception (15th March 2020 at 10:10 am) was absolutely fantastic. Gave us tonnes of info and lots of grissly facts (which my daughter found brilliant) sent us off to explore with the rat hunt and kids sheet and armed with useful info.we spent about 2 hours here hunting for clues and really enjoying the history and horror. The free photo at the end is a brilliant touch as not only is it fab quality but it's a nice keepsake, and included in the entry makes this an absolute bargain for entertainment in London. Staff, museum extras and even gift shop were really good affordable prices Thanks so much xxxMore
