Cozy place with good service. Had set lunch which was good value. Great for coffee and casual lunches.Read more
Chilli Crab Pizza - the pizza crust is not even made in-house, and its obviously purchased from else where. It taste like a dry biscuit and not even close to pizza hut's pan pizza or the typical thin crust ones. (Pizza hut's pizza is like 10 times better?) If you're expecting this to taste like the famous Singapore chilli crab, you'll be in for a rude shock. No chilli crab taste at all, the crab bits are far and few, with canned olives (seriously, olives with chilli crab?) This is a major fail and clearly the ones making this pizza has never tried it before, before serving it to end customers. Gluten free crab meat aglio olio spaghetti - the spaghetti served was overcooked, too soft, and looks like it has been chopped into tiny bits for a toddler. Again, the crab meat was far and few. And this cost $24. If you're thinking of coming here for coffee, by all means. But for a meal, please DO NOT. There are so many other better restaurants in Singapore with the same price point.Read more
Interesting dishes but the portion wise a bit pricy.I prefer Orchard branch where is interestingly decorated and less crowded. People say their coffee is good.Read more
Wonderful place for dinner with the dinner promo. Soup, main course (halibut) @ earl grey lavendar tea was great!Read more
My wie and I had lunch here a few days ago. It was quite busy and the meals looked good from standing out front. The prices are no expensive but they are also not cheap. My wife ordered the big breakfast and asked for poached eggs. It could have been a nice meal aside from 2 issues. 1 the poached eggs were hard, not soft yolk. Quite disappointing that as a customer we should need to be explicit about the yolk softness. Secondly the fancy pork sausage they mentioned in the menu was nothing more than a processed pork hot dog. Again for the price I would have expected an actual pork sausage with mince meat. To me I see this as a deceptive ploy, customer expecting one thing and getting another. Had these two issues not been so my wife would have been quite happy with her meal. I ordered the eggs Benedict. I had 3 issues; 1 of the 2 eggs was perfect, the other hard; being a bit hungry I also ordered the pork sausage as a side for $5, very disappointed; the eggs were served on muffins which would have been fantastic had it been toasted and not soft wet and uncooked. Had a little more effort been made to the quality of the food prepared and the use of a real pork sausage both my wife and I would have been very happy and wanted to return again. However I won't be back anytime soon. if i do I will be very clear about what we expect from the meal and will stay away from the so called fancy pork sausage. Price wise it was reasonable if you get what you expect. If you go, I suggest being very clear with what you would like served. The customer service was quite good, above the standard here in SG.Read more
