This hotel also has a rooftop which was stupendously beautiful. Do it was still not completed I loved the view I was getting from that rooftop. Rooms for big nice neat and clean washrooms were also good especially loved the shower in the bathroom and the other toiletries were good too.Read more
We stayed for three nights in December. The staff were always helpful. Only 15 minutes from the waterfront. They would order us ubers and charge it to the room. Well stocked honesty bar. Lovely views of Table Mountain from the Rooftop Terrace. Breakfast was always nice. On the last night we ordered a Pizza Hut delivery and the receptionist even ordered it on her personal Uber eats so we didn’t need to download. Room 1 where we stayed was very large. Rooms always clean and tidy. Always felt very safe and secure. Only 5 minutes from Kloof Street where there are lots of restaurants. Read more
The staff is friendly and supportive. We got to leave our bags in their care while we exploded the beauty of the mother city. Upon arrival we were welcomed with complementary drinks and there are lovely comfy robes for guests an espresso machine for coffee lovers too; I experienced this as a lovely touch, a step higher from standard rooms of bigger hotels such as Protea and Southern Sun in my opinion. Having the TV connected to Internet for a wider range of content to watch was wonderful for binging on favourite shows; we stayed up till early hours of the morning. Though we didn't have enough time to enjoy the upper deck, it was a lovely space for relaxing and sun bathing with a beautiful clear view of the mountain and beautiful sky on a clear day, I could imagine that hight on the deck can be a romantic experience for couples too or a mere relaxing space for a person who just wants to be in the moment.Read more
This lovely building with very comfortable rooms in a quiet part of the city is an excellent place to stay. The welcoming staff could not have been more helpful, including when I unexpectedly needed a GP! They gave very good recommendations on places to eat, the food in the hotel itself was very good, and nothing seemed to be any trouble. It is perhaps slightly farther out of the centre than may suit some, but taxis are easily arranged if you don't feel like walking, and the Hop-on Hop-off bus is a short walk away too. The area to relax and the dining area are all lovely, and if the wind is not howling, the rooftop with its views is a great place to unwind. We really enjoyed our five days there and the lovely attitude of all the staff helped give us a great introduction to South Africa.Read more
