Amazing place. Must visit for a photography enthusiast! The collection is extensive and quite brilliantMore
Don't follow google map, or you will get lost. The place is near the main road, but google map will bring you into small roads and may get lost. The ticket price, in my opinion is quite steep - S$20/ adult, S$15 / student. There is a large display collection of cameras. The guide was very friendly and helped us to take photos and explained to us some of the history of the cameras there. But mainly will see a number of video clips that explains with more information. There is also a "trick eye" room of sorts at the end of the tour. It's a small place, maybe 2 rooms of display, but interestingly we spent around 1.5 to 2 hours there. Although it's nothing fancy, but my girls enjoyed it. After that, do have a walk along Gelam Gallery with the numerous interesting wall art.More
Small little museum and I would consider this a hidden find. Never knew there is a camera museum in Singapore. The person must have spent a bomb on the collections. Vintage and every milestone in photography, definitely an eye-opener. The tour was a good one, carried out by a photography enthusiast - brief and simple, what amazed me was the collection that is on display. Surprisingly spent longer than intended as we took a walk through history of photography in a small little space.More
Nice private collection. A few videos are available to explain further in addition to what the guide describes. You can spend one good hour to visit this museum.More
Paying $20 is quite overpriced to see a large collection of cameras, some of which in actually bad conditions, with some large pieces missing in the history of photography: gentle and helpful staff, but hard to qualify as a "museum".More
