Firstly the fact that this restaurant is based along the long walking shoping mall means that the outside seating area is a big focus and I strongly recommend eating outside.. theemir is also air conditoned indoor seating available aswell. Now to the piece dos resistance... the food was so nice... I ordered the spicy wings as a starter.. the other guys went for the squid which was very very nice... but I prefer the spicy wings in all honesty, moving ontk the mains I ordered the firecracker chicken with sticky rice and polished it off with ease as it was delicious, the other guys ordered some ramen noodles with chicken and a katsu curry. Everyine enjoyed their meal and washed down each meal with a coffee and water. So all in all our visit was actually a casual lunch while away and was served very promptly, was well cooked and very tasty. Read more

I usually visit Wagamamas if i need a quick, reliable bite, their yakisoba is one of the best in town and they have a variety of other dishes if noodles and salmon or steak is not your thing, it also comes in a teriyaki sauce which is what i usually order. The portions for the appetisers are very small, so i usually dont order any..main meal portions are good and you can get some nice fresh juices. Staff is very friendly and as mentioned food is served quick. Definitely recommend this place. Read more
Wagamama, Golden Mile branch is not the busiest on weekdays. When we reached the outlet, it was just literally me and my colleague who are there. I assumed they mainly concentrate on deliveries as I saw several paper bags lined up in one of the tables by the counter. I have been eating a lot lately (been lazy preparing my food to bring for work) and been out for lunch. i thought I’s behave and get a salad for lunch. Golden Mile is a place that is very convenient for us to go from where we work. It maybe accessible for us, as we are working nearby, it might be difficult to find if you are coming from other side of the city. The place is very residential, if you don’t work or live in the area you wouldn’t know that there is one out there. However, it is perfect if you want a fast service and aquiet environment. We went to lunch at Wagamama and ordered sirloin shitake salad and chicken teriyaki donburi. The sirloin shitake salad is quite filling. The amount of sirloin steak is very generous with the standard serving of Wagamama dishes, in general. They have nice selection and mix of greens that compliments the entirety of the salad. I just felt my dressing wasn’t enough for the amount that I have, but in totally it suffice. The Chicken teriyaki donburi, serving wise, is quite big and filling. Filling, because of the Japanese rice it has. In all honesty, nothing special. The presentation did not impress me too. It looks like anyone can do this plating. I just felt, Wagamama needs a bit of uplift in terms of menu items that they have. I feel that their food lacks that umami taste in their menu, considering they are a (modern) Asian restaurant (with a twist) that they are. The name and the brand is already established, it just needs of updating to keep up with the trend to the same category of restaurant in the city. The price also is another subject. They should also review the complexity of the meal versus their prices as it is somewhat incomparable. I felt it is a bit overpriced. The employees are very nice and friendly. They are even suggesting on what protein best go with what (i.e. teriyaki donburi apparently go well with beef rather than chicken for example). It is a nice gesture that they are involved in our selection process of the menu.Read more
