I cant complain about Wild Wadi and all the rides which were great fun, however if you are going to stop people bringing in snacks and drinks for kids, then please have some better options for food. There was no kids meal options, the food was really bad, chicken nuggets looked like they had been made out of bread, burgers like leather shoes and the hotdog......well I have no idea what that was even made of!! Just general quality was terrible, so if you are going to charge ridiculous prices for food then you really need to up the quality......... Oh and one final thing, after eating, we then saw a big sign by the pool saying if you have Emirates ID we could have saved 20% on the overly priced rubbish we paid for ie 70-80aed for each person.....Redic! Just annoyed to be rinsed like that, Thanks,More
I am very angry and critical toward wild Wadi staff. Despite the fact that the landscape is wonderful, I feel very frustrated with the staff, at every level of the hierarchy. Just to provide you with a bit of context, my son who is taller than the minimum size (1.1m) was not authorized in the family water slide. I cannot accept that in 2021 we are still dealing with a measurement method coming from the previous century. My son is taller than the 1.1m expected to perform the activity but he was abusively refused. Miss Sarah was awful with absolutely no sense of professionalism when she asked my kid to leave the line to be measured. I cannot imagine one second how do you want to be accurate with a such archaic framework to size. So, She abusively decided that my son was under the authorized limit. Frankly, I do understand that rules are set up to be respected and this is definitely what we do. However, I refused to be mistreated arbitrarily by staff who are not enough trained to read a simple measure on a yard stick. In addition, we were waiting for an extra 20 min under the sun for Mr Ramy the manager to handle the case. I was extremely surprised when the first word pronounced by the person supposed to be a manager was "Where is this kid". I felt very frustrated, the language is too rich with plenty of way to just say Hello, HI, GOOD MORNING, SALAM or whatever in any other languages. This man just takes customers for goods and not for human being. Moreover, the good sense would have been that the discussion was held between adults (parents vs managers) and not the manager requesting to the child in a foreign language (my son doesn't speak English). Last but not least, it will be preferable to measure each child at the check in point and give an access validated tag, this will end up the debates.More
A great Waterpark to spend the day in. The water temperature was just fine, the shower water was really cold, just as needed. There was a queue for the big slides. One of the slides was not in operation during our seven-day's stay at one of the group's hotels. Covid measures were in effect, although in most of the ques, safety distance was not kept at all. One irritating point which it repeats every time we visit the waterpark is the number of unoccupied tubes flowing around the lazy river. At some points they stuck and you can't get through. Another issue which we see every time is some groups of kids/teens making a lot of noise and throwing tubes at each other, disturbing other guests. At least for a whole round at lazy river. Visit the park, it's worth it.More
Great waterpark. Kids loved the lazy river and the flood river flyer ride. The tornado alley ride was amazing but difficult to go on - me and my son wanted to go onto it and were told several times we can't as we need to balance out the raft on the ride - after begging we were allowed on with another random party. However, our experience here was was positive, would be nice to see more rides here. And 99 AED for one ice cream seemed a bit expensive.More
We have not visited here for 10 years. Not much has changed the rides are still excellent. They have changed the scary tall ride to a rocket drop ride which is still pretty scary. Had a fantastic day here and today was very quiet compared to yesterday. The social distance in the queues can be quite strict but then you come out of the other end and bump into someone on a rubber ring - doesn't make sense. Also beds are still all parked up next to each other. No need to wear your mask here in the water park either only when you leave.More
