Went for my friends 50th birthday whilst in Singapore. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The staff were so lovely and made my friend’s birthday very special. We even came away with a framed photo of our visit.
Definitely recommend if you get a chance. More
After several visits in Singapore we finally got the time to try this place known as a landmark in the city. The place is not very big but it is rather cosy.. looks like a kitch french chic bistro. The food is good overall with some excellent dishes like the beef rendang (sort of vindaloo for those who know it), also the Chap Chye (sort of broth) excellent as well. We took a starter that sells a lot, as all tables practically had it, a fried thingy with shrimp, we did not like it, very tasteless, we did not say anything but a waitress asked about the meal, we brought it up and they removed it from the bill, very nice touch. Desserts ok, nothing amazing as well.
The staff is extremly available and smiling, the restaurant on the food part would be "just" good but they definitively bring it to excellent.
Around 55-60 euros each. Worth it.
From start to finish the staff were very friendly and professional, literally on the hall with every aspect of service! As well as the food been deliver fast with amazing results. For Singapore we thought the food was extremely fairly priced as it is an expensive city to dine in.
Even more stunning is the fact that it’s in an art gallery and you can see the marina bay sands hotel clearly from the window.More
I was craving for Peranakan cuisine and there was no other place I had in mind. My cousin and I had a fantastic dining experience (it was his first!) and the Filipino staff were so attentive, generous, and cheerful. Many thanks to the chef for our complimentary Pulot Hitam, a Peranakan take on the Philippines' beloved champorado.More
My parents and I came from Sydney to Singapore for a family reunion with my brother from Los Angeles for my 60th birthday. We celebrated with high tea at Violet Oon National gallery and had the most amazing time. Food was great but best was the excellent service by Jessie and Ruel!!! They were very professional and friendly and I was made very special! Thank you and we’ll be back!More
