Small, simple cafe located in Level 1 of a boutique hotel. Tried the beef burger and thought it was quite good. They beef patty was generous and succulent. Fries were nicely done - crispy.More
I will put zero but lowest start is just 1. We booked through eatigo for 5, but when we arrived we were told that we have to wait. Which is fine. But when we saw that there were large tables occupied by a couple, we asked why couldn’t they have been seated in a smaller table and the bigger table reserved for us. After all we made an advance reservation. Then we were rudely told that they don’t want to do our business and turned us away. This is completely unacceptable and just rude and bad service. This is the first time I’ve encountered such a situation. But I should have read the reviews on Google carefully. Apparently someone’s reservation was cancelled without notice. Well mine is one step worse now. They cancelled us. Come here at your own risk and be warned. I think I’ve been more than generous in my review.More
The restaurant is inside this small cozy boutique hotel. Nice ambience - nice decor, quiet, very private. However once situation back to normal with many tourists walking/talking/checking & out few feet away, etc alongside you while you are eating, it won't be that nice. Food-wise, mostly Western menu served here. We had 2 different types of steaks plus a grilled chicken set. Steaks were average, dry and tough with minimal side dishes. Same with the chicken. Edible but not great. Prices are very expensive for the quality & portion served. Just not worth it. For much less than the prices here, one can get much bigger & tastier similar food in places like Aston. We were aware of the high prices but decided to give it a try since we were in that area & because of good Eatigo discounts. Even with the discounts, we felt was was still not worth it. Service wise, there was 1 young girl manning the counter, order and serving. Frankly can't expect her to go out of the way to please all customers. But we felt she was responsive and okay. More
Went there because of the Eatigo 50% deal. Food is really just average, but with the 50% deal, it’s passable. My dad like his steak (Rib eye) while I find my steak burger and my husband’s soft shell crab burger very average. The sauce for my parents steak n chicken chop is very watery. My mom ordered chicken chop. That is ok too, still moist. While I don’t mind to go back again with the 50% deal, the service by their waitress is really lacking, not rude but I just feel not welcome. Her face was covered by a mask but I can literally feel that she’s there just to do-her-job-n-go-hm attitude. 😅 So yap, will most probably not be back again. More
If you fancy bad service and mediocre tasting burgers, dine here. The waitress was unfriendly and disinterested to serve. When we asked for the bill she told us to walk to the counter to pay. For a burger at $25++ there are many better places.More
